Well, whenever he adds something big, for instance, a moon, this game will be back to life in no time.
No doubt. Space Stations, Docking, Satellites would all bring people back. Can't wait to get home this weekend so I can try this game out on my Gaming PC, instead of my crappy old Laptop.
We'll need some heavily reworked controls before that - I can't imagine docking without 6 degrees of freedom. With the current setup, colliding with the station would be an accomplishment in itself.
Hopefully joystick controls will be implemented soon.
North Kernarus has successfully made its first sub-orbital flight! This has been a glorious day and I shall thank all my comrades for helping me build a rocket just for the job and give orbital tutorials! (If anyone is wondering, I used this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RvVjysJKB4. It's very useful for first-time orbiters.)
I'm having some problems with my models. I've made them in 3dsMax, exported to .dae, but when I start the game with them it just stays at the loading screen. Also My rocket probably uses half of Kearth's fuel supply, but only gets to 10,000m. :v:
it would be pretty cool if you can save progress. Be able to have multiple craft in orbit and make a spacestation yourself through several rockets (making new rockets to carry more material for the station)
That's what I'm hoping for. I want to be able to build a station like the ISS has been built; by adding parts over multiple launches. Maybe they can make it so those parts have certain perks, like better control, refueling, or (if research is ever introduced) faster researching.

They've got research and development planned out: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/index.php?title=Planned_features See there in the Space Center section.
This thread is dying.
It's only inevitable with this short wait until the next update. There's only so much you can do without other planets, space stations and what not.

So.......anyone thought of any new mod ideas lately? [sp]God, I feel like this thread's life support machine.[/sp]
It'd be awesome if this game had a firstperson mode where you can float about a ship and look out the windows and things.
I hope they add new command modules in place of the old one, or at least skins. My soviet-inspired rocket doesn't look too good with the default one. I literally have to hide it with shroud decouplers.
Now everybody smile!

Something I really hope he does, is allow you to set the trim. Say you're space shuttle has a tendency to automatically drop the nose towards the horizon, allow you to set flaps or something so that you can keep it level.
Oh this is going well. Uh oh. Oh shi.. OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK! Would work a lot better.
It would have been a brilliant design if they ever managed to get a tow aircraft powerful enough. I mean you only need to use the tactic once or twice to utterly ruin the German understanding of military tactics. The first time they assault a weakly defended position and are driven back by TANKS gliding onto the battlefield, their morale is going to go through the floor.
No need! Better to drop AFVs in the enemy's *rear* and wreck havoc there!
I managed to break almost all the connections on my rocket at once by trying to turn too quickly.:v:
They look like shells ejecting from a gun :v:
I want multiplayer.
I want multiplayer.
rocket races to certain altitudes/speeds/destinations would be awesome.
rocket races to certain altitudes/speeds/destinations would be awesome.
or freestyle where you can goof about making space stations etc. and watch as I crash into it by "mistake"
I like this game because I make very efficient ICBMs with a near unlimited range Crew-manned multistage ICBMS
rocket races to certain altitudes/speeds/destinations would be awesome.
Reliving the Cold War, one bit at a time.

[t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22990731/ksp-bobcrazy.jpg[/t] Bob's so happy to be back on solid ground he doesn't even care about the minor catastrophe that some might describe as a hard landing without parachute. The others aren't quite as chuffed.

they don't make aerodynamics like they used to.
