Ok, MangoJuice, you wanna be famous here you go: All on one post too.
Rockets are supposed to bend like that right?
I think Jeb probably has your answer.
He's in space, heading doesn't matter unless you're accelerating. Not like he has any fuel anyways.
Yellow marker on the attitude ball. [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] Or green or whatever.
And this matters how? [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] Azur what are you doing.
I have a compulsion to rate every god damned post I see [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] Sorry
Where is this rating ticker?
I have a compulsion to rate every god damned post I see [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] Sorry
He has a compulsion to post every rating he sees.
Where is this rating ticker?
It certainly isn't the button that says ticker, oh no.
15 degrees is a little steep of an angle to be moving downwards, I'd suggest trying to correct that a little.
I was freefloating, and I have a compulsion to make the craft spin slowly in space.
Yellow marker on the attitude ball. [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] Or green or whatever.
i always thought it was yellow, i got really confused when you guys said it was green
There's a yellow one that shows where your ship is in relation to the ground (Where your ship is POINTING) and a green one that shows where your ship is GOING, IE Where your momentum is carrying you in relation to the ground. Don't know what the hell you guys are talking about, it's not hard to figure out. If the green one has an X in it, you are going backwards in relation to where your ship is pointing.

I do not know why this matters.
I launched the USS Speigel into space to circle around Kearth for the first time. It all went fine until we got to the dark side of the planet. I thought that I had gotten into orbit... I really thought that we had made it. But then the altitude started to decrease. And it kept decreasing. I thought that we could simply abort the mission by landing in the sea. But then I remembered the glitch. My men were doomed. So I sat back, listened to this, munched on a box of cereal, and let it all happen in the backround... Bang. D:
I want to complete with another country/faction on the Kerbal planet. Like the space race between the U.S.A. and USSR.

Now THIS is a proper apogee.
I think you mean apokee.
No I mean apoFUCKING HELL THIS IS TAKING HOURS [editline]1st August 2011[/editline] literally
Now THIS is a proper apogee.
I wish there was a day to decouple the LAS/POET after launch.
I wish there was a day to decouple the LAS/POET after launch.
Yeah, but I'm gonna have to use it to deorbit since it's all I have left.
Anyone else naming their crafts after famous ships/people? I find myself naming my crafts Spektor (Regina Spektor) and Serenity (shame on you if you don't know.) :v:
Apogee Coming back down on the second revolution after my deorbit-burn. Turned around for re-entry Parachutes, deploy! Home safe. Add 24 hours to the MET, it resets once it reaches 24. I usually name my rocket after whatever song is playing.
I usually name my ships after whatever real life ship it's designed like. If it's not designed after a particular real ship, I name it after a planet, dwarf-planet, star, etc. I'm currently on Ceres, which I find makes quite the nice name for a space ship.
i never name my spaceships because i like to emulate the russian space program parachutes are for pussies i've gone though like 1,500 crewmembers
I too rarely use parachutes, as I am too lazy to land them.
I want to complete with another country/faction on the Kerbal planet. Like the space race between the U.S.A. and USSR.
I tried to map Kearth, but I have no idea how to.
