The only way I can think of real quick is to stick a solid booster on the side and then another liquid one under that using a decoupler.

I wish there was a way to make the rockets more structurally sound, because whatever my rockets are attached to just keeps pivoting despite being flush with the fuel tanks, then breaks off and either stops working or hits the tank and blows up.
