Why can't anyone make a very small Lunar Lander so I can hide it in a 1 to 2 meter decoupler like they did on the Apollo missions.
That's what I was thinking.
What mod did you get the fairings from? They look beautiful.
I modded that mod last night. I need more duct-tape!
Gief fairings!
That rocket looks really cool.
Also if you make a lunar lander model that fits inside a 1-2 meter decoupler I will love you forever. (no homo)

May I ask how you got there? The launch pad isn't near by and your 26 seconds into flight with only an altitude of 500. Something seems to have gone horribly wrong.

I wish there would made re-attachable parts after we get the moon. Like send a space shuttle to the moon, use up half the fuel on one stage, send the stage in an orbit around the moon, re-attach it and fly back to kearth.
Logical next step:
More rockets, you say? EDIT: Just launched it, needs more duct tape/struts to hold it together.

I made an interplanetary (if planets are ever added) rocket, some problems with stages, but it's gigantic. I'll sort it out tomorrow.

My longest project yet, I've been messing around for about a month with this overall concept (most speed possible with only vanilla parts) and this is the result. I'm still working on it, though, and I want to find some way to get another layer of solid boosters on there. My ultimate goal is to be above 37,000 meters before having to fire my liquid engines. By the way, this is completely stable. Just raise throttle to maximum, throw on SAS, launch, and start the next stage when necessary; other than that, no input required. (Note the speed, time, and height in the second picture)
I made an interplanetary (if planets are ever added) rocket, some problems with stages, but it's gigantic. I'll sort it out tomorrow.
Planets will be added when people have the patience to wait 5 years to get there.

Sorry I just came back to this thread and I don't think the link is in OP.
Just downloaded .9. What mods should I use?
I just downloaded this and holy crap it's fun. It's also frustrating when you can't get the rocket to work after 56 tries :v:
I like to set unique objectives for myself instead of getting to space. One of my recent ones is an ICBM. I go up to an altitude of 20k, then come back down and try to hit the launch platform. Another one is trying to spread your astronauts like spores from a fungus. Attach tons of detachable modules that have pods and parachutes on them. Fly up as high as you can and detach them, and watch as 20 parachutes open up and spread out to the planet below.
Should I leave it on overnight and see what happens?
Man, this game has improved a ridiculous amount from the last time I played it :v:
Suddenly, explosion.
Time for page 100. I miss thread limits.

Primarily these three: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=1109.0 http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=79.0 http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=1833.0 But I also have a lot of small ones installed.
