10.0 is going to have a moon in it and it's going to be released pretty soon since there is already a experimental version out.
Will that require preorder?
Does exploit count as using this to recreate the Saturn V? [editline]4th September 2011[/editline] Flew this whole flight path on full throttle with only liquid rocket boosters. [editline]4th September 2011[/editline] I think I may be in orbit for the first time!
Did he implement path recording?
Did he implement path recording?
Nope, I drew that myself.
10.0 is going to have a moon in it and it's going to be released pretty soon since there is already a experimental version out.
Err...right now we are on .10, 10.0 will be years from now... And the moon is slated for something around .13 or later.
Will that require preorder?
All versions will be free for the coming months. I think they only plan on charging when there is a full feature beta (which is quite a long way off)
How do you guys fly your planes? Mine always jsut do loops and I cant control them. Should I use Sas?
How do you guys fly your planes? Mine always jsut do loops and I cant control them. Should I use Sas?
The wings are fickle, so you need to balance them and also make sure that you don't apply too much power.
So I uh...built a biplane rocket sled... Everyone knows you haven't built a proper rocket until Jeb is screaming.
Wait, is it possible to launch from the runway?
Wait, is it possible to launch from the runway?
Nope. [editline]4th September 2011[/editline] This sounds so sweet for during the actual campaign "Space Center Facilities can be destroyed by crash-landing onto them, and fixing them will cost you." You will have to think about your rockets falling back to earth and maybe get over water or use a parachute.

I hate the bug, it takes forever to load.
Are you guys posting all of the latest parts packs in the OP, or do I have to dig for them? :v:
Are you guys posting all of the latest parts packs in the OP, or do I have to dig for them? :v:
Just check the projects section of the official forums, there's stuff there for whatever floats your boat and most is good quality. [editline]5th September 2011[/editline] My first successful lander mission :v: [sp]Successful as in: 'at least no one died this time'[/sp]
You will have to think about your rockets falling back to earth and maybe get over water or use a parachute.
I by some reason actually do that, I like to give all my side boosters and stages a safe landing.

I love how they laugh when they crash into the ground most of the time. [editline]5th September 2011[/editline] on a better note: awww yeahhh. [editline]5th September 2011[/editline] on an even better note next mission is the dark side
Is it possible to get to space?
Is it possible to get to space?
um
Is it possible to get to space?
Only if you really believe!
Is it possible to get to space?
You're in space right now.

What I'd like to see: KSSP, Kerbal Sea/Sub Program, will they sink or float, or break apart in rough sea conditions and be able to take the stresses of moving underwater.
Did you do that with vanilla parts!? That's amazing!
Yup, it isn't that hard when you can master liquid thrusters.
I just go to 325k altitude, how high do I gotta go to escape the planet's gravity?
I just go to 325k altitude, how high do I gotta go to escape the planet's gravity?
Not a question of how high, but how fast. Usually you have to go ~2,400 m/s (this is from my experience at orbit, which I usually do around 60km) to reach Vescape. [editline]5th September 2011[/editline] Speaking of orbit, I just made my first payload carrier. Pictures soon!
I just go to 325k altitude, how high do I gotta go to escape the planet's gravity?
ORbital Calculator has an escape velocity thing too.
I wish there were an in-game orbital calculator.
Anyone know why my game takes forever to do anything?
Anyone know why my game takes forever to do anything?
And what do you mean by "anything"?
