Kerbal Space Program, or: "How many rockets can I slap onto this thing?"

Why can't i drag parts from the meny to the pod? I have to click several time and then it might work.
I was wondering about that. Why is there even a price for the parts anyways.
Because eventually you're going to have a budget etc etc

Probably will be an unlimited budget mode and a campaign mode or something. Either that or achievements for getting so far with such and such a budget
Oh man, I really need to build a plane.

I had this and the 9/11 thread open in different tabs. Guess which one I thought I was reading?
So, lately I've been working on a method of getting our guys to the moon.
Fairly standard rocket design

An example descent

And a successful landing

In 1/6th gravity it should be able to get our boys back off the ground, in the future the mini SRB at the bottom will be the ascent stage from the lunar surface.
We had to take shots of the rocket during different missions because, unfortunately, our design budget only included "functional flight" and not "more than half of the time"
I love building a space plane and flying it around the entire planet at only 50 meters off Kerbin.

I hope. I enjoy working around obstacles. Right now my obstacles is speed and distance. I want build the biggest motherfucking rocket and it's hard.
I love my plane

I forgot all about that! I don't know if you could get off the mun with only mini-boosters through, even in 1/6 normal gravity. It would be better to just make a bigger rocket, test it and put lander legs on the stage that crash into the lunar surface.
I showed this engine off many, many pages ago. I can't seem to get it into the game, something about exporting, haven't figured it out totally yet.
Here's a pic of it in a real basic form. (Sorry for the huge picture)

I think I should make it's own fuel supply, because the standard one doesn't fit with it at all. Something more electrical maybe.
Is there any chance you can release this soon? I love this design!
My capsule has been going a smooth 8700m/s for a few hours now, it's around 147000 km out. Kearth is just a little dot.
I don't think our boys are coming home D:
Got into my first orbit, was hoping for a circular orbit, but it's fairly extreme imo, apogee at ~115.8km, perigee at ~35km.
[editline]when[/editline]
Scratched the upper kerbasphere after 4 hours in orbit. Forgot a parachute and have ~20 seconds of fuel left.
[editline]when[/editline]

Touched the Kearth at 15 m/s, rocket toppled, killing the crew.
Next time: I'll bring a chute.

It's a Star Wars reference!
The last transmission from the ship ever received was a report by Bill Kerman. They reported that they were approaching what appeared to be a space station, and that "the smell of feces is overwhelming". No further contact was established, and the crew and ship were declared MIA.

Great kid, don't get cocky.

Slightly gay walk.
Made a K-82 Heavy Bomber. Expect pictures.

Decided to heed fskman's opinion. Here's me crashing said bomber in slow motion.

Left it running overnight, got to around ~480000km before stopping it, Kearth was already far out of view at this point.

Do it again, except use cheat engine to accelerate it to 10-20x normal speed this time.
That's how I did my 4 hour orbit in ~30 minutes.
Is the forums working for anyone

Yep.
Both FP and KSPforums are working for me.
