Kyle you made that rocket aswell?
Kyle you made that rocket aswell?
Yes. I do the texturing and some of the tweaking.
Glad you're making connectors, as frankly I run this seperately from all the other mods i have (otherwise it just takes too long to load) Hopefully there'll be two versions of those adapters, one that can't be detatched and one that can.. Suprisingly easy to make an escape velocity ship from your parts, but tis the tweaking weights and configurations to make it more suitable for orbit that's fun.
Credit where it's due, he writes all the damn .cfgs too.

Winstonn, are those top fairings from your mod?
No, they're from CaptainSlug's mod.
You need some super-strong struts for them rockets. Mine keeps having a seizure.
You need some super-strong struts for them rockets. Mine keeps having a seizure.
The way I thought of getting around KSP's physics fits, was to make some custom decouplers that are super heavy gantrys that mitigate the engine being crushed. I used to do it with parts, so It could work.
Will you try to incorporate it into the next update?
Well, it seems I won't have to. BEHOLD, the power of heavy struts! Weighing at 1 mass each, they keep (sh)it together. not bad... Fuck the space police.
I'm gonna see if I can hit light-speed w/o editing any .cfgs.
RELEASE IT FASTER YOU TWO!
Harvester posted this today. It's the new KSC area. EDIT: Bonus news: experimental release monday.
Would make more sense if it was a huge target. :v:
I'm waiting for the day cinematic replays get added. I'd love to see handycam footage of my rocket [del]lifting off[/del] killing everything.
v0.2 of our pack http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=2680.msg26326#msg26326
If my projected speed at the end of my last fuel tank of my current build is 60,000m/s than that means I have to increase the scale of my ship by 5,000 times its current size Correction: It's not even close to 60,000. It's more like 37,000. Which changes the scale increase to about 8108
Thats one sweet rocket. Who cares if it flys good or bad. it just looks cool. [editline]29th September 2011[/editline] Did another Kerbal Space Program Shenanigans video. Snake rocket!
Crap just realized this doesnt have the crash sounds... Monday will be sick. Well actually the update Monday probly wont have that much new stuff.
Monday probly wont have that much new stuff.
70% of the features are marked in green, meaning they are already implemented into 0.11.

My second run got me to about 44,000m/s 44,000-37,000= 7,000m/s So attaching 6 E-1000s added a total of 7,000m/s Therefore I must add 42851 E-1000s to get a total velocity of 300,000,000 :suicide:
Get to work. And take into the factor the weight of everything.
Wait, that math is incorrect, the actual number is 42851*6 because it took 6 to get 7000. So I have to deal with... 257143 E-1000 liquid engine rockets w/o weight factored in
I haven't been following recently, what's the latest downloadable version?
10.1
DAYUM! What's new since 95?
