It shouldn't be too long now for us to get a moon into the game. We're making sure everything is working ok before we start adding more stuff though. Cheers
Please don't use real life moon-earth distances
Haha, no, we plan to make that distance more or less proportional to the size of the planet. That means the moon should be around 11x closer than the Moon is from Earth. Cheers

It keeps happening.
Does that mean shift+T to toggle SAS? [editline]10th July 2011[/editline] Also, will it be possible in the future to save the stages? It's getting annoying to shift things around every time I take off.
No T is toggle F is hold to use.

Cheers
That'd still take a while to reach, since the moon would be around 360 000: 11 = 32727 km, and I'm on 21000 after travelling 2 hours at a speed of 3000m/s. Not that it's bad! Noo, It'd would make people get innovative with rockets! Just realised it doesn't matter, since time manipulation is planned :v:.
/me is dev ;) Glad to see people are liking the game so far! You guys are coming up with some really cool designs. I'm terribly sorry about the website being down... We were caught completely off-guard. We really didn't expect this much demand in such a short time. About all the bugs that have been reported so far, we are well aware of them by now, and we're working to get rid of them. Oh and BTW, that parts pack is also really cool. :) Happy flying! Cheers
Hey, I just wanted to say that the game is awesome, but it's really straining my GPU. When I put it at max settings it runs for 5 minutes and then my GPU overheats and my screen blacks out. I'd appreciate it if you guys could fix that!
When you start adding other planets I want to see lots of references to culture.
I love this game.

4900k and counting, almost an hour after liftoff. quite an achievement for me :)
Some way to separate stages, without jettisoning. For example you could make a oversized Estes model rocket. Currently if you make a single stage rocket that doesn't separate, the chute goes at the same time you fire the engine. This would allow you to have different stages, without separating the parts.
So you want them to fix the fact that your computer is not properly cooled?
It IS properly cooled and other people are having the problem too. It's the only game so far that has managed to overheat my GPU.
How many people do you guys have working on this project? Is it just you and Alejandro, or are there more people?
aww my screen went black, oh well. Was just drifting through space.
It IS properly cooled and other people are having the problem too. It's the only game so far that has managed to overheat my GPU.
What GPU do you have, I have a GTX295, so it seems like it may be doing some stuff that the card cannot handle.
It IS properly cooled and other people are having the problem too. It's the only game so far that has managed to overheat my GPU.
Then don't play it at max settings then you derp.
What GPU do you have, I have a GTX295, so it seems like it may be doing some stuff that the card cannot handle.
HD 5750.
What GPU do you have, I have a GTX295, so it seems like it may be doing some stuff that the card cannot handle.
It works fine here, too AMD Radeon HD 6450
Then don't play it at max settings then you derp.
You don't get it do you. My PC can easily handle most games on max and ONLY THIS GAME OVERHEATS THE GPU.
You don't get it do you. My PC can easily handle most games on max and ONLY THIS GAME OVERHEATS THE GPU.
THEN DON'T PLAY IT ON MAX FOR THIS GAME.
HD 5750.
Well its not a directx 11 problem, because your card supports it. At above, the point is that there is something wrong, because this game is less graphically demanding than Metro2033, and yet I don't BSOD in Metro, but I do in KSP.
THEN DON'T PLAY IT ON MAX FOR THIS GAME.
BUT IT RUNS SMOOTHLY.
Could ya release 0.81 in a day or two by any chance? That symmetry is going to make it easier to balance out a ship.
Any tips on stability? I have a perfectly straight rocket, but it ends up losing control eventually and can't realign it.
You don't get it do you. My PC can easily handle most games on max and ONLY THIS GAME OVERHEATS THE GPU.
That really doesn't matter. Maybe your card simply isn't up to it. Either way, the simplest solution to your problem is just to play it on a lower setting.
