Bought a new projector and the first thing I did was [thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/41041550/Photo%202011-10-08%2012%2016%2046.jpeg[/thumb]
Bought a new projector and the first thing I did was
A projector? To a PC? You, sir, are a genius.

Challenge Accepted.

We used to have our PS3 hooked up to a projector, But you can't hardly see anything on it during the day.
Then use a screen during the day and wire up the projector during the night.
With a projector, don't you get that ugly screen door look?
How many inch is that projector
LarparNar, how did you fit those feet on the advanced SAS? I am trying to copy your design and it won't let me fit them on. EDIT: Oh nevermind, you use modified parts, didn't see that.
How many inch is that projector
120 inch
My mum was given a projector for free from her work. She never uses it, I do.
I managed to pick up a 1024x768 Epson projector from a 2nd hand shop for £5 years ago.
I have one that my uncle gave me years ago in my basement... I should examine it a little i suppose [editline]8th October 2011[/editline] edit: my god it's ferred beyond repair
I'm surprised my netbook can run this. Just bought mine yesterday.
Wow, rocket science isn't as hard as they say.
Wow, rocket science isn't as hard as they say.
As an aerospace engineering student, let me say it is as hard as they say. KSP does make it a whole lot more fun though. :eng101: Want to really practice rocket science? Try predicting your craft's performance mathematically before you test it!

Decided to try making VTOLs using RCS myself, made a few designs. These things are a lot of fun to fly around Design 1 [t]http://s.hruhf.in/2011-10/0036_Kerbal_Space_Program_(2011-10-09).jpg[/t] [t]http://s.hruhf.in/2011-10/0037_Kerbal_Space_Program_(2011-10-09).jpg[/t] [t]http://s.hruhf.in/2011-10/0039_Kerbal_Space_Program_(2011-10-09).jpg[/t] Design 2 [t]http://s.hruhf.in/2011-10/0040_Kerbal_Space_Program_(2011-10-09).jpg[/t] Design 3 [t]http://s.hruhf.in/2011-10/0041_Kerbal_Space_Program_(2011-10-09).jpg[/t] [t]http://s.hruhf.in/2011-10/0042_Kerbal_Space_Program_(2011-10-09).jpg[/t] All KIA and still flyable [t]http://s.hruhf.in/2011-10/0043_Kerbal_Space_Program_(2011-10-09).jpg[/t] [t]http://s.hruhf.in/2011-10/0044_Kerbal_Space_Program_(2011-10-09).jpg[/t]
Post the .craft's for those and the packs that you used please. I mean really that's incredible.
Not really impressive since I used a modded RCS module. (Cheated to use no fuel and are 10 times more powerful) I used these packs and you can find the crafts along with my modded RCS here In other news, another successful mission apparently. You guys tried flying past the sun yet? It's at around 13.5 million km. It's just a flat sprite thing, but you can actually pass it. I managed to get back home too, hohoho
Quick, what's the default key for taking a screenshot in-game?

My first successful orbit: Now how do I get down with no fuel?
My first successful orbit: Now how do I get down with no fuel?
God damn, thats one elliptical orbit. And orbital decay is not modeled yet, so your Kerbals are SOL.
I always keep a SRB to get me out orbits. [editline]9th October 2011[/editline] it isn't anything hard to get it along with your capsule.
I always keep a SRB to get me out orbits. [editline]9th October 2011[/editline] it isn't anything hard to get it along with your capsule.
I just keep my engine with me until re-entry.
I use the new RCS to de-borbit now, although it does mean my orbits have to be eliptical by neccescity, when I'm actually orbiting, I come really close to the atmo, that way then the RCS is strong enough to de-orbit me.
