I reworked my Mün rocket. On the first stage the SRB's and the core engine all fire simultaneously and the SRB's don't get ejected at all. I would have tested it out thoroughly like LarparNar did but time warping messed up the payload fairings. I'm trying to practice my lander landings, but the damn craft always falls over and smashes my ascent engine and tank so anybody have any tips?

I modded some parts to use no fuel and have a thrust of 1000. I went out to 1bn Meters, then reversed towards kerbin, i hit the atmosphere at 12,000m/s, i slowed to 500m/s by 4km from the ocean. i want that changed in the next version if possible, just make it that the faster you go through the atmosphere, the hotter your parts get with a nice effect of heating up, not just for reentry, but if your parts are overheating.

There are no tips. Wing it, motherfucker! I find as long as you're descending at 12m/s and slower, with your forward velocity being about 6m/s or lower, you'll be alright. of course the wider your craft is and the shorter it is, the faster you can be traveling without tipping over

So any idea when mun is coming?
