THis is How real kerbs go to orbit.
This would make an amazing desktop wallpaper.
:D Kerbals need to be doing more.
Jeb needs a jet pack for space.
I just want my Kerbal plushie, dammit.

You're not helping. I want one so bad.
Even Etsy doesn't have one. That's saying something.

When Kerbals invade real life, my room is TOTALLY going to be the next Kerbal Employee Lounge/Jeb shrine.

Jeb with aviators, Bob with a teddy bear, and Bill with a barf bag.
And why did Kickasskyle make a lander that doesn't fit into his payload fairings? (I know the former came first, but nonetheless)

Winston does the modeling, Kyle does the textures. Also I make my own landers typically, because I like full control of the performance.

There's only a limited amount of options when making your own. I mean, it's just a few tanks and legs.

Closest orbit ever?

Too close, perhaps.
close moon orbits are fun :D

No OvB, not close enough.

The extended 3m+~ payload fairing doesn't exsist yet.
A black hole ate or something.
Seems Mediafire is down, anyone got a mirror of the KW Challenger Pack 0.5?

Another to-the-Mün tutorial.
I fucked up the editing at one point, but whatever :v:
Nice one , i still run out of fuel when i try to get back to kerbin.

Managed to get to the Mün!

D'awww my first orbit, isn't it cute? :3:
Wait how am I going to get out of it?
The periapsis looks like it intersects the atmosphere, which means it will slow you down, which means it's probably not a lasting orbit.
[editline]2nd December 2011[/editline]
Also, burn forwards (prograde) at the apoapsis to increase the periapsis altitude, and the same at the periapsis (burn forward) to increase the apoapsis.

It fits in 3m our fairings perfectly, as Kyle showed.
Made a small and very (un)safe Mün-ship!

The filters make it look horrid.
Hi,
Just a short update to let everyone know we're still alive
I'm still office-bound today (been here all week), so we've didn't get much done as far as game features go... We'll be back to normal on Monday though.
On the bright side, this week we got the store system working, which is pretty awesome. Alex did a very good job with it. It was initially developed by an external company, which was supposed to be, you know, a "professional" web systems dev studio... Turns out they have no clue So we took matters into our own hands, and in a few days Alex had the store up and running.
On my end, I've been mostly caught up in non development related aspects of the project, but which I think will yield a very good payoff soon. More on that later
I also found some time to do a few tweaks here are there... I finished fixing up the new fuel flow logic, which means fuel lines won't crash the game, even if you create a loop of them, and I also tweaked the time warp scheme a bit, to allow time to be accelerated when the ship is landed. That means you can now set warp as high as you want when you're at the launchpad (or landed at the Mun), and see the skies rotate around you, and wait for your launch window.
We are also working on a few new ideas, which are not really meant for this update yet, but should be very cool later
Anyhow, it's been a busy week, even though we haven't got much to show for it... Hopefully next week we'll see some more progress.
Cheers
