They really need to make it so that you can attach fuel canisters to the sides of things and to radial decouplers. Also the ability to only delete things that are accidentally dragged to AND clicked onto the menu, as apposed to things being deleted when dragged off of something attached to the original command module.
Lord Crypto asked if he could have my ship, so I thought i'd give it to all of you. I hope - for your sake- that the load order is the same as it is on my game otherwise badddd things. http://www.mediafire.com/?86hv77d5amyk162 Orbadorba is Orbinator in Kerbalian.
And the goddamn stage menu should require manual scrolling, as apposed to scrolling up rapidly when you put your mouse anywhere near the edges of it.

I agree that it's way too easy to accidentally delete half your ship, just by picking up a part of it and letting go at the wrong place, or by accidentally hovering the mouse over the parts list. All that will be taken care of. Cheers

The ability to create blank "stages" would be nice too.

Gr. Stupid orbiting. I only go ~234km before splashing down.
You guys are aware that you can Ctrl-Z to undo things in vehicle building, right?
Yeah, hopefully included with the ability to move entire segments to different stages.
Creating "artifical" stages by planting random radial decouplers, I've made it work. Game goes insane if you then delete what made the artificial stage with something else in it. gotta go fast
I'm not sure how the stages work even after doing the tutorial. I keep arranging them properly (i think), but when I hit space nothing happens until a few times after when half my rocket comes off.
Where can i get these addons? Like the huge orange canisters?
Where can i get these addons? Like the huge orange canisters?
It's in the OP

When editing in the stage menu, the parts should be color coated to the stage it's assigned to.
When editing in the stage menu, the parts should be color coated to the stage it's assigned to.
Simple, Effective and easy to do. Sweet idea!
When editing in the stage menu, the parts should be color coated to the stage it's assigned to.
Dev please do this
I've got an odd question: I have a 3 tiered, 8 stage rocket; one SRB below the command pod, a tri coupler with 3 more SRBs below with 6 SRBs radially decoupled to them. Below the 3 main SRBs are 3 more SRBs with 6 more SRBs radially decoupled to them. Heres the weird part, if I fire the bottom 9 SRBs in sync, then the next nine etc. I go slower and get less altitude than if I fire the bottom 6 radials, decouple, then the main 3 with the next tier's 6 radials, decouple, main 3 again and finally main 1 before the command pod. What up with this? I would think more initial thrust = better speed and altitude overall.

Assuming I followed what you were trying to say correctly.

Why do all the crew members have the same name? are they bro's?
Why do all the crew members have the same name? are they bro's?
Only three dumb enough to go on our hellish deathtraps!
It's challenger all over again.
Challenger jokes, mate.
This is my most successful launch yet Note the 4 hours. I took a nap after I hit 100,000m
Just reached 100km with a two stage, liquid fueled 7 engine rocket. 6 on the tricoupler with one tank each, ejected at 10km, two tank single engine all the way to 42km travelling at 1300m/s, let it run for 10 minutes and started returning at 100km.
My Ship is on it's way up, 20200000 Km and counting still going 1.5km/s. It seems rather simple ship designs work well. Although I can seem to make big ship because I can't work out how to zoom out in the ship designer. :S
Hold the mouse wheel down, move the mouse

If it's actually zooming in/out, hold down your mousewheel + moving it.

Hmn, okay. For a stable orbit with a period of 225 seconds you would need to be 200km above the surface and travelling at 22000m/s. That's assuming that Kearth has the same gravity as Earth and hence the same mass. Of course, there is a very high chance I have done something wrong.
