Do you know the basics on getting an orbit?
Go sideways fast.
Go sideways fast.
No, you should burn full throttle toward Kerbin.
Possibly late, but Jeb's on knowyoumeme.com! http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/jebediah-kerman
What did you do? You must have just burned upwards.
I was going to orbit Earth but I overshot the orbit a bit too much.
I hope there will one day be rovers. I want myself a little Jeb-iousity :3:

Guys, guys! Did you hear? HarvestR is going to add symmetry!

Christ, I should be working on two papers, yet I'm making old jokes about old jokes. :sigh:
Pfft, hear about new blue liquid engine exhaust? That shit is the BEST addition.
I just can't until I can land on the dark side without exploding!
Did you see the new Kearth's Moon concepts? NovaSilisko is also starting SIDR!
Also, why is water solid?
Holy shit you can press T to toggle SAS??
Hey dont blame me that its late , i didint see it before :v:
Hey dont blame me that its late , i didint see it before :v:
I hadn't seen it until I went to the knowyourmeme page.
Wow, there are mods for this game now!
Hey guys, have you heard of this new thing called 'Kerbal Space Program'?
We get it, guys. Back to the present.
I'm trying to learn a system that allows consistent orbits around Kerbin, and eventually the Mun. At what altitude do you usually start to angle? And at what degree do you do so?
I'm trying to learn a system that allows consistent orbits around Kerbin, and eventually the Mun. At what altitude do you usually start to angle? And at what degree do you do so?
Depends on how high you want it. When I set up for a Hoffman Transfer to Mun, I start at about 20KM and end up with about a 500km orbit.
I'm trying to learn a system that allows consistent orbits around Kerbin, and eventually the Mun. At what altitude do you usually start to angle? And at what degree do you do so?
Depends entirely on my rocket, how much drag it has, and how much thrust it has. I usually start around 3-5 km, and just tilt it slightly in one direction to make it go that way, then I keep the heading indicator inside the prograde indicator at all times, but allow it to move inside it to do small adjustments.
I don't know how to do "Transfer orbits" so i just go straight up and hover in one spot till i get picked up by the mun's gravity.

Just landed on the Mün with an attempted transfer orbit (failed horribly, went back around twice before actually getting caught in the gravity of Mün), but non the less, I landed there.
I don't know how you guys manage to do it, I am absolutely terrible at this game.
Longest time on the Mun award goes to Inacio!
