I think he meant like as far as landings are concerned. you can make it take off and land with out any problem. stopping wind movement is easy with rcs' ijklhn controls. Jhikln lol that makes a word sort of. I think i will name the RCS moduels that :d
Do it.
Send a newborn baby.
Are there controls that will turn the craft prograde/retrograde, or do i have to use wasd?
Are there controls that will turn the craft prograde/retrograde, or do i have to use wasd?
You have to WASD.
A mode for the SAS to automatically turn you prograde or retrograde is planned.
awwhthat sounds boring :/
awwhthat sounds boring :/
Probably easy to code. I'd like something like that for my space stations.
Are "place where you want to place them" fuel tanks release yet?
Are "place where you want to place them" fuel tanks release yet?
Fuel lines are in the next release. No experimentals yet.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NB8EFLT3joo&feature the comment section should explain stuff. but first is the parachute test for whatever reason.
I really wish you didn't have windows sounds in the background, it always makes me check for something.
I really wish you didn't have windows sounds in the background, it always makes me check for something.
spellchecker hates when I play kerbal.
This is much cooler without the lag, trust me. You only really need to see the first ten seconds and 1:08 till the end (the first launch was a fluke). Here's the .craft if anyone wants to make a decent vid (right click --> save as): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18058290/Launchpad.craft
I want that. Now.
I want that. Now.
I linked it :eng101:
what is that things point?
To shit shit into the air.
This game seems to have come so far...and got a bit more technical. When i started playing, We just made a rocket and see who got the highest...Now you're all on about making progrades and retrogrades, and landung on the Mun? I need to get into this again...
To shit shit into the air.
It also looks pretty cool from this perspective, imo. I really want Harvester to hire the guy who does the NASA commentary to narrate KSP Launches. For reference:

What this game needs is an indicator of which way you are pointing while in map view.
What this game needs is an indicator of which way you are pointing while in map view.
Why? Also the navball will be in it next version.

Saw this yesterday. [editline]12th December 2011[/editline] Wouldn't it go better in the BF3 thread?
Posted here because why not.
Ok you know what should really happen. Nasa should pick this up and sponsor it. Leave the dev team to do their thing, but get sponsored by Nasa so they get loads of money. It's exactly what NASA needs. This game could seriously spur huge interest in space and rocketry among a younger generation. It's exactly the kind of stuff real spaceflight is made of, but on a simplified level. Instead of making Moonbase Alpha, they should seriously consider getting stuff like this. I was already super interested in rocketry and space before this game, but this solidified my desire to become an aerospace engineer.
