Apparently it does with boosters, Bill is less tolerant to heat: Here's a few more boosters: And something I ended up doing while getting bored:
Oops At least they are all happy on the Mun
the Challenger LEM thinks 0.13 is the work of Satan, and is wearing trousers to express this
Am I doing something wrong or are fuel lines not actually working properly.
There's a reason why its 'experimental'
Absolutely love how much faster it is to load.
Still waiting for my nuke update. They should just make it a priority to add nukes for the upcoming update
Hm, looks like you need to attach the fuel lines to the destination first. They can't be attached to engines directly though as far as I know. I love being able to carry extra liquid fuel tanks and eject them as you go. Time for my quadruple fuel stack of impending doom. My body is ready.
Harvester never said anything about linking them directly to engines.
Also, are there talks of reentry? Like the effects and shit
Yeah, too bad. You'd normally assume that'd work since they're called fuel lines and all. :v:
Also, are there talks of reentry? Like the effects and shit
Yes, on the KSP forums people make threads about it at least once a week if the previous one has died, and it's also on the planned features page on the Wiki.
It would make more sense if the fuel lines could attach to engines directly, or at least a portion of it (no putting it inside the nozzle or silly things like that, for example) I was so happy about the news of there being optimisations, but it seems it still runs like shit on my laptop :c Not much I can do about this dinosaur of a computer, I suppose.
I'm hoping in the near future we get to fuel our own spacecraft
Fuck, not only do they double as elastic struts; they can also pump fuel from lower stages. This design keeps the central engine running off the side stacks till they run out and separate, at which point it starts to consume fuel normally from the top one.
that's the whole point of it :v:
Yeah, but here's a cool side effect. I managed to create a rocket that swirls on its own, based solely on fuel redistribution mechanics. As fuel is transported around from one stack to another, the weight difference affects its trajectory. Fuck solid boosters, I have found a new toy.. I'll be back shorty. INVENTION TIME!
your pipe ends are clipping into the collision models of something and trying to force each other apart, causing the rocket to spin
What the fuck? You can attach an engine OVERLAPPING a fuel tank. [editline]14th December 2011[/editline]
your pipe ends are clipping into the collision models of something and trying to force each other apart, causing the rocket to spin
No
welp. he changed something drastically about phsycis. makes anything to do with the failcan9 a piece of shit that breaks and wobbles around in space like a two axis top. so untill these issues are resolved i will not be working on the failcan9 or Durgun.
Sucks that I have this shitty coursework to write right now, ten motherfucking pages of shit due Monday...
Sucks that I have this shitty coursework to write right now, ten motherfucking pages of shit due Monday...
4 1/2 days to play Ksp, 1/2 day of writing
4 1/2 days to play Ksp, 1/2 day of writing
No I need to finish this now goddamnit. [editline]14th December 2011[/editline] It's so stressful to have it unfinished, yet I'm complaining about it here instead of doing it.
I know the feel bro , it happens to me all the time
They should also update KSP with movable vehicles, It'll be awsome to have the portable launch pad
Fuel lines are useful, although I do end up with slow rockets also steam down for anyone else?
also steam down for anyone else?
Yes.
Are the fuel lines actually bendy? :v: [editline]14th December 2011[/editline] Because if they are, I'm building a Mun rover that lands like the MSL.

Not sure how well the "roving" will work, but the rest is sketched out in my head.
