Kerbal Space Program, or: "How many rockets can I slap onto this thing?"

I really can't wait for the symmetry update. Most my rockets end up fucked because they're not perfectly aligned.
Seriously the 18th is my most anticipated day of the month.
Any way to do that easy duplication feature where if you have a TRI-Coupler, it will automatically put 3 of the same thrusters on it for you or is it coming out in the new update?
HaversteR, please tell me that the update on the 18th will include the ability to name crew-members? I'm dying to do a Let's Play series, but I really want to name the crew after my various subscribers...

Are you crazy, how will you ever capture the essence of this game without Bill, Bob, and especially Jeb?

I think telling your subscribers to change their names is a better idea.

I'd still like the game to give me named pilots anyways (for when I'm just playing for the hell of it), and as a fan of X-Com, you can really become attached to the random characters that a game gives you, but X-Com also shows the fun of naming your characters after real people - especially when life is on the line (how long will they last?).
Just hit the vtec yo
(2500 m/s, I ended up getting to 1064 k at 250 m/s before getting bored and quitting)
6240K, 1k m/s and losing speed so slowly I will hit the G today.
Yes! I managed to get the command module into orbit. Been circling around at 500 km at around 1400m/s. It's made 1.5 rotations, but I'm worried it's going to be more of an arc and eventually lose orbit.
We shall see.
Is it a bug that a large liquid fuel booster will be left on the launch pad if you take off too fast with the larger solid fuel rockets?
I don't really get how to get my command module to orbit, how high up would you have to be?

Sometimes they are greyed out, which is annoying if I simply want to use them as an extra boost with my other rockets.
This is a planned feature already. But it will require some time to get in. The plan is to add a whole set of 'fairing' parts, that can be placed over others. Using fairings will reduce drag on exposed parts, and generally make the ship look cooler :v:
Oh, and by the way, new video with the new advanced shipbuilding features:

Fuel should flow through splitters
Sometimes they are greyed out, which is annoying if I simply want to use them as an extra boost with my other rockets.
And if its greyed out it means it was left on the launch pad. It's also been happening to half my rocket now
Can someone instruct me on hopw to make stages like a once a fuel tanks burnt out drop it?
Why, when I fly (using cerebus 1 because I can't make shit) does the rocket just seem to fly up and then angle over in to the ground? I can't seem to balance it when I pilot.

Seriously, this game confuses me

To make stages put a decoupler. Then hit space when you want to go to the next stage. Read the tutorial again.
For everyone that wants the shuttle part, it's under gibbed:

I need fasforward, I don't want to wait more and more hours just flying through empty space :(

Do you have any SAS modules attached and have pressed T before launch?

Use cheatengine

How should we use this? Whoever made it needs to put the ability to put a radial decoupler on the tiled side so we can attach it to a stack.
Will there be a way to add/remove stages without the use of a decoupler? It'd be cool to activate certain engines at different times.

Weee, past the moon slowly decelerating.

You attach it to a radial decoupler, not attach the decoupler to it.
Someone needs to lower the bottom attachment node so we can have
Parachute
Pod
Shuttle
Rest of Rocket.
OR give the engine another attachment module at the bottomso we can have
Parachute
Pod
Shuttle
Engine
Decoupler.
Rest of Rocket.
Well, I managed to do it, but it always handles like shit.
That alternative crew saving thing, is quite useful for turning around in space too!
I got an idea for a part: the instrument module. It's as large as the SAS, and you have a list of instruments you can equiq in it (changing the looks of it), like navigation equiqment, or stuff that helps you steering.

How can you achieve orbit? I keep falling back to earth after a while at 70KM height going 2100m/s

at 70KM you'd need to go over 3175m/s
For some reason, my rocket accelerates to 1km/s, then drops off its main engine and fuel tanks, slows down to 150m/s and then accelerates back to about 1km/s :v:
