IT WOOORKS IT WOOOORKS OHOHOHOOH anyways my second rocket works well actually like 60000 m now not bad forall liquid
How did you get the model into Blender (?)
Yeah really, I've tried several times and haven't been successful.
IT WOOORKS IT WOOOORKS OHOHOHOOH anyways my second rocket works well actually like 60000 m now not bad forall liquid
You should try using solid fuel rockets to get you out of the atmosphere then use liquid to propel you through space.
i know i was going to put them on it wasnt even finished with the thiord level of liquids no rockets
I love this game. Having trouble reaching Orbit with my newer rockets, going back to the older ones.
Updates with additional game stuff (paying for parts, for example) better make those features optional.
I made it to the Dark side of the planet! I feel so accomplished.

Can someone help me get into orbit? Should I take off at an angle to get myself into position or should I just go straight up and then try to stop going up and start going sideways? Wat do!?

Wat do!?
I usually go up with most of the stages, detach the last stage and manuever it sideways. Then I start it. Keep in mind, this is assuming I'm around 70,000 M, or approaching that.
How do I enable symmetry mode?
Are the mods in the OP updated, and what is the overall best mod to use?
Few things Iv'e noticed since the update, I had the symmetry bug out and only add 5 out of 6 SAS modules and then making the remaining 5 unclickable or deletable, Radial decouplers seem to bounce alot more now, all of my old ships that worked before the update now break apart and explode on launch, and the final one I had was that I would click to move a section of the ship and it would move the parts but the little connection orbs stayed and if I drop the section it spams the item clicking sound rapidly.

I launch mostly like this, only I start pitching one direction at about 7k in Altitude
0.8.2 appears to have been uploaded, apparently it fixes most of our bugs from what I read.
-snip-
Um... 0.8.1 is out already... (0.8.2 now). http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=146.0 Edit: Is it supposed to enable itself, because I can't figure it out.
hotfix released [editline]12th July 2011[/editline] http://kerbalspace.tumblr.com/
Getting into orbit is damn hard, I always overshoot. Also to people saying you need to use solid fuel to get out of the atmosphere, this really basic rocket is liquid only

Anyway to enable symmetry, there's this small icon next to the creation category tabs, that defines the symmetry type.

IIRC, someone posted a list with orbit speeds needed and escape velocities needed.
hotfix released [editline]12th July 2011[/editline] http://kerbalspace.tumblr.com/
I came in to tell you all just that, but it seems you're way ahead of me already :v: Anyways, fixed the collision-doesn't-allow-you-to-drop-the-pod problem, and also fixed the crashes and general weirdness that ensued with symmetrical parts moving around. Those were the ugliest ones, if anyone finds anything else, let me know. Cheers
what have i done
You bastard!
what have i done
Wow you bastard. He loved life so much too. Well...he loved everything, really.
I think Jeb might actually be the space core. Maybe he crash landed on earth and his consciousness got uploaded to it or something. The dude's just so psyched about space, it's the only explanation!
How does one kill a single crew member. All I've been able to do is kill all 3 at once.
Seems Jeb is always happy for adventure (and his death). But there was this 1 time on liftoff where all the others were happy but Jeb. Maybe it was just too boring for him going straight.
Is this bug fixed?
Well, the code I changed to fix the pod vs PunchOut problem was the same bit of code that handles that kind of thing. Haven't tested, but it's likely it will be at least, erm, different now ;) Cheers
