Selling usefull stuff to get money for researching even better modules? Every planet would have special resources waiting for deploying mines and docking areas near them so you can bring these resources to kearth.

Any time you add a decoupler to the bottom of something, and sometimes when you attach radial decouplers, it creates a new stage.

You're supposed to copy the program where KSP.exe is, and your part needs a valid part.cfg

I know. I did that. I deleted everything from the KSP directory though and re-extracted the SDK, seemed to have fixed it.
I'm muddled about the collision mesh placing though. I'm a complete dickish noob when it comes to modelling properly, the collision mesh can just be a cylinder placed over the model and tagged [node_collider] ?
Also, I get a keysystems error in the SDK program when I load my model. T_T
Deleting the mesh covering the model results in 'Collider node found but no mesh in it'.
Please help godly experienced modding d00ds. :saddowns:

Add decouplers.
I hope they make it so adding parts doesn't fuck with the order of other stages. Or at least have the ability to "lock" stages.
I hate setting up an elaborate stage system and have it all reset to shit every time I want to alter a part or add wings.

You first select which symmetry mode you want, then you click the part you want, then attach the part.
If it's not working properly, make sure you have the newest version. There was a post on the forum by a developer of the game saying that 8.3 is going to be released soon as well, bugfix release, so anticipate that if you still have problems.

I tried that, shit breaks into pieces at launch no matter how many ASA's you have.

Well, I sort of lost the thrusters, so I'm not sure how I'm going to get these little folks back home.
Also, it's accelerating at roughly -0.35 m/s/s, so it's going to take a long time to get this thing to stop.
I hope things can be attached in more than one spot/to multiple parts someday. For example, you have a 1-3 coupler at the top with 3 fuel tanks coming from it, then a 3-1 coupler at the bottom of those tanks. An update like that would make building stable craft much easier.
And the game crashes.
