I would drink that.

That one engine actually produces enough thrust to fly?
Okay guys, we don't need to be so high strung.
It would be great if a changelog was added to the top of the OP though, so we could see all of the changes easily, and I'm sure that would stop most of the "is there symmetry yet?" questions and such.
If that isn't too much of a problem.
The model is still crashing tot he menu ffs D: D: D:
Edit: I should refresh the thread before posting...
Slightly off-topic question:
are videos of 500mb supposed to take 1,5 hours to upload on youtube? I got a video showcasing the bug a bit.
Compress it first using the Xvid codec or something. Makes the file a lot smaller so it uploads far faster.

Holy FUCK
no
That one engine actually produces enough thrust to fly?
When you're high enough pretty much anything can propel you enough to lift, it just takes a lot to take off due to higher gravity/air resistance
I couldn't find anything really useful on the extras pack, the orange tank magically detaches from the rest of the ship and blows up,
the side boosters are the only thing a little useful but then again, they blow up when used on the orange tanks.
So where are you getting those fuel balloons ? is it another pack ?
What altitude can you begin to start orbit?
wavenarra, Try using Gmax, it's a free 3dsmax like app, maybe it's exporter would work for the game properly, but please move to the official forum and wait for the answers, we can't help you with that.
Made it to orbit for the first time, and after orbiting for a bit, decided to descend back to the planet. With my last fuel, made it down to 50k meters above the planet, launched parachute. Finally, I was going 10 m/s as the shuttle was about to land in the ocean, with not a single landmass in sight. And then, just as it landed, "boom." They all died in what looked like any other landing I'd ever done, with everything deploying at the right time, and landing the right side up.
What is the highest altitude all of you have gotten?
Seems as if my new rocket design worked!
Slowing down with about 0.5m/s a second :)

I don't know why, but I can't fix this :(

You need to use the cones to connect small sections with big ones, and side decouplers to attach solid fuel rockets, else they overheat.
Their forum is practically dead. I posted, but expect no replies for at least a day or two days, which by then, I will have lost interest.
Because fuck anything that doesn't work when you follow the instructions precisely, and is IDENTICAL to the .obj files he made originally.
I mean, I completely took the parachute apart and it works fine. Try and use two cubes for the model? OH LOL SORRY I CODED THIS IN THIRTY MINUTES SO YOU CAN'T DO THAT BYE.

AAARRRGGHH WHY DOESN'T THIS WORK FUCKING CUNT
SO. INFURIATING.
I hate modding things. I vow to never do it again. Worthless shitty use of my time, struggling with incomplete documentation and no support for anything except 3DSmax. GJ DEVELOPER
How about instead of throwing a fit you be grateful that a developer gave you functioning mod tools in a pre-alpha build of a game? How many games do you know where you could do that? Minecraft still doesn't have an official developer kit, and that's been public for... 2 years now? If you're having trouble, submit a real bug report instead of excessively whining about it, so that maybe the problem can be fixed.

Yeah, that happens. The ocean is treated as any other terrain. I've not been able to make a successful landing on it, though, the ship always blows up.
So it could be that the water just makes you explode if you hit it, however, you still might want to make sure everything was decoupled from the command module, because any extra weight is too much for the parachute. I've made the mistake of sticking the SAS module to the command module and coming down too fast because of the weight. You'll always want to put the command module on top of a decoupler so that it's totally separate from the rest of the stack.
Oh yeah and see below, you also can't land on the dark side of the planet without exploding, so it could also be that.

If you land at the dark side, it blows up. Don't know why.

Any, depends on the speed

Wow, I managed to kill 2 of the crew with the last one surviving

I've always landed successfully before, but that was on the bright side, and not to far off from the launch pad itself.
If you land at the dark side, it blows up. Don't know why.
Yeah, I landed on the dark side, so that must have been the problem.
anyone elses game just load infinitely? i could play fine before the update
Do they plan to have interplanetary drives (that maybe we can hook on at a space station)? At best it would still take most people a day to get to the moon

I don't know why, but I can't fix this :(
What's to fix? :D
Also, I persevered, and finally accomplished my task of making a badly modeled, terribly textured part. Hooray?
A solution to my every problem would be a possibility to manually make stages :( I want to make a several set of solid fuel rockets, and I don't want to light em all up at the same time.
Oh god, the Let's Play's of this game are going to be hilarious.
