Jebediah is still smiling, I haven't told him that he's not going to survive.

Even if you'd tell him, I doubt that will have any effect on him.
The sedative the lab boys gave him earlier are quite strong.
Yes.
Also my orbit is like this right now:
Apogee: 51045m - 2326.2m/s
Perigee: 47822m - 2337.8m/s
Difference: 3223m - 11,6m/s

Bill and Bob are indifferent, Jebediah is still badass.
1½ revolution this is.
Just launched into orbit for the first time,
Apogee: 113.5km
Perigee: 43.3km
Time per Revolution: 31:50
Achieved with a 3 stage rocket, modded the liquid engines and SRBs to be slightly more accurate to editor descriptions, SRBs have a thrust of 250, but only 75 fuel, liquids have a thrust of 190, and a fuel consumption of 6, 2 less than vanilla, just a simple rebalancing, making liquids slightly less effective for liftoff and SRBs not as useless.

Not the LEO I was looking for. :v:
My rockets all tip over and fly straight into the ground almost immediately. :(

Don't feel bad. My first real attempt of a rocket blew up in my face after not lifting off :v:
try editing the engine parts hilarity ensues if you do this
try editing the engine parts hilarity ensues if you do this
I changed the vector of the rocket to a negative number and got a rocket that pull me back to earth.
i had a rocket i changed the thruster i blew up in the atmosphere
My game is stuck in an endless loop of loading, any ideas?

Try removing some custom parts.

Proof of concept, (Excuse me for using tables, will be fixed later :v:)
Hey, can you add the Steam group to the OP?
This game needs a spedometer for lateral motion.

One of my thruster stages entered perfect orbit :v:

Did you escape gravity? If you did, you've done twice more than in one trip than I have ever done. :v:

In one of my better orbits :v:
Latest measuring says
Apogee 56 680M
Perigee 46 662M
Orbit period is roughly 28 minutes.
EDIT:
Deorbit at the 2 hour mark, touched down safely 4 minutes and 23 seconds later  Most successful mission ever!

Got bored, deployed parachute.
Didn't do shit.

Pretty sure there's no atmosphere that high up.

I'm pretty sure science doesn't work that way...

Needs more rockets.

It does on Kerbal.
This may sound like a dumb question, but when you get a proper orbit, does it matter what direction the craft faces, or only what direction it's moving in?

I can't get into orbit but assuming Kerbel obeys physics direction of momentum is what matters, not what direction you're facing.
Can we get rocket sounds die out as we get farther away from them? I hate having a rocket burning out in the distance and hearing it like it was still attached.
Also, have it immediately cut the sound when you decouple it in space, since no air would transfer the sound.

Once you're out of the atmosphere, no, it doesn't matter.
My tricoupler redo is going to be in the next update, I pretty happy about that.
