Threads dont lock at 3000 now so stop talking about the title.

183644 km, 3035 m/s, barely slows down one m/s every 10000 km. As you can see it is pointed directly at earth, yet earth is nowhere to be seen.

This is a known bug with the terrain rendering system that is supposed to be fixed in the next major build.
JED! WHY DO YOU SMILE WHILE YOU PLUMMET TO KEARTH AT OVER 500 MPH TO YOUR CERTAIN DOOM

True, but why not, if we all have ideas.

I was thinking that "Kerbal Space Program V2; FUCK OFF NASA, I KNOW HOW TO BUILD A ROCKET" was a good idea. Can't remember who first thought of it.

The question isn't why, it's why not?
Soooo, what are we going to call the moon of Kearth?....Kmoon?
Soooo, what are we going to call the moon of Kearth?....Kmoon?
Already been discussed, many agreed on Kuna.

would you spend your last 12 seconds before dying being scared and screaming or being exhilarated
Already been discussed, many agreed on Kuna.
What. That sounds like a name for a cat.
A shitty outside cat.

Scared.

Luna=Moon, then replace the l with a k
Scared.
Why? No amount of screaming and crying like a little girl is going to change the fact that you're about to die, you may as well go out having fun.

I don't think it really matters anyway. As far as a rocket accident goes, you're sitting on a pile of volatile fuel and if you even have time to realize, "OH SHIT," then you've lasted pretty far as far as space program incidents go.
What is some good music to listen to while orbiting Kearth?

Is the extra parts and crap completely neccessary?

I found them useful.
at one point as the capsule was 10m away from crashing, Jeb, Bill and Bob were all smiling like idiots

I think I might have floated my first satellite, but I'm not sure thanks to the configuration of my rocket and the fact that I lost sight of it when I reentered.

Here's the after flight stats. I didn't fly that long, I was waiting to see if a notification would be left when the satellite hit the ground, but I did a different test and found out it wouldn't tell me if it did. The actual flight lasted about 2.5 minutes.
And here's the rocket I used to get there:

I know where it comes from, just sounds bad to me.
Personally I think just sticking a K on the start of everything is kinda boring/uncreative but... everyone else seems to love it so whatever. Maybe it's just me.

Starman by David Bowie and Rocketman by Elton John
Going to give this another go now that I have a chance. I should probably re-do the tutorial.
