it does, but it throws you into games where even HE is useless, out of the like 30 matches I played maybe five weren't T9, and out of the five maybe 2 weren't T8. Decent tank, awful matchmaking.

Yeah, the nerfed the FUCK out of it since the test.
The gun is pretty much the same but the speed and turning are now WAY too slow for it to be of any use.
These french tanks are giving me brain damage.
me and w0w00t in AMX-38s ran up on two different enemy AMX-38's and just dinged away, then the next match I nonchalantly fired at his front jokingly and it penetrated for 60 damage. And seriously it's like every tank after the FT just [I]completely[/I] outdoes the previous, where the previous tank can't even [I]think[/I] about killing it.

Yeah, the E4 is the premium tank beta testers got. It only has a short 75mm gun and a little more frontal armor than the normal Sherman.
I heard it's pretty okay for ramming too
is the stock T-44 terrible? very tempting to spend my free exp to get it faster

How ever tempting it may be, don't use free exp to cut corners and 'jump' to the next tank. Always use it to turn stock tanks into something actually enjoyable.

It's awful. You'll have to deal with the 85mm once again except this time around, you'll only face tier 9/10s.

This is my E8 / Free XP and there's plenty more free XP where that comes from.
I say if you can, it's worth getting some gold to convert xp on your Tetrarch / elite tanks into free, it really helps. I haven't played my E8 in a week not counting last night with FlakAttack. I play tanks I love and get XP for a tank I love and to a tank I'll probably enjoy.
