Can't wait for low tiers to become even greater ding fests with the British tanks, whose specialty is heavy armor.
I find it funny that they put a French tech tree full of prototypes in the game before a British tech tree full of tanks that were actually used.
There are also tanks from mid 50s while other nations' tanks don't even cross 1950 line.
I think they made the right decision. The British tree is just another bastardised german-like tree.
At least the french have two distinct play styles.
The British tree is amazing from the fact that nearly ever piece on it (the pre-alpha one) actually was built, with the majority seeing use.
No the British tree will be amazing because it contains one tank: the Centurion.

76mm frontal armor sloped at 57° ~140mm, around 165mm turret armor + 200mm gunmask. 76mm gun. Meh. Maybe the MkII/MkIII version with 83mm gun.
The Cromwell was a versatile tank, too!

Dont forget that tanks that were great IRL can suck massive cock in this game
I have no clue how, lol
Enable battle recording in your settings and every battle will be saved as a replay. You can find them in your game folder under replays.
Any tips to getting through the Jagdpanzer IV? Or should I just shut my brain off and grind till I get the next tank like I did with the slugger to get the T25 AT (Except the slugger was actually kind of fun).
god
DAMNIT
playing my Type, got in a decent match for one, there was 2 types per team, close to the top, etc.
Fighting a Tiger P on Ensk. In this little courtyard area where I've been murdering him by waiting till after he shoots to pop out.
He tracks me barely because I didn't get far enough, and I was stuck there the ENTIRE match with 658 HP. He did no damage to me, just tracked over and over and I couldn't move. Killed a VK3601H that tried to take advantage but exposed himself too much, then an enemy Tiger II rolled around the back of me and I killed him too (but just barely).
Finally the Tiger P seemingly runs out of ammo. I move back a little bit into cover and BOOM. From 658 HP to 0. I'm dead somehow, by the Tiger P that didn't have an LOS on me.
Reminds me of how I kept Wiseman tracked behind a house with my Ram II, it went on for a minute before I decided to fuck up their Tiger P.
I will not be surprised if the 105mm L7 makes it in game. There already is a 52 caliber 105mm gun in game for one. Also I expect very high on the move accuracy in the mk3 (higher than the patton) and it does have very good gun elevation as well, -10 to +20 degrees.

Use it like a assault td and basically just dont give a fuck about what you are doing.
The latter part works for all tanks, especially on any desert maps.

You forgot the part where I hunted you down on the hill.
Surprisingly, I imagine the SU-85b and su-76 are having a great time with the low tier french tanks.

That wasn't fair :saddowns:
I could skip the AMX 38 and part of the AMX 40 grind, is the ducktank any better than the piece of shit before it?

It was fair enough after all that dinging you did.
Also the ducktank does look better than the amx38 with that howitzer cannon it has or whatever it got, seems like it got better armor than the b1 as well.

As long as you do not get dumped at the bottom of a match, a fully upgraded AMX 40 is pretty decent. It is defiantly worthwhile getting the engine, tracks and gun though, grinding without these is the most depressing grind you will ever go through.
Too bad matchmaking doesn't like any tanks that are tier 4.
Too bad matchmaking doesn't like any tanks that are tier 4.
Luckily there is an large number of low tiers now-a-days.
Also, a AMX40 with a damaged engine, fuel tanks, and driver, driving through a swamp, is the most painful thing ever.
6 rounds into a GWP
it survives with 50% health
get owned by a VK3601 sitting behind me
FUCK THIS AMX12t SERIOUSLY BURN IN HELL

It isn't that bad, I actually have better statistics with it than with my StuG III. Just make sure you don't spend a lot of time shooting at strong front armour. Always try to flank, as the short 88 will actually do quite a lot of damage when shooting at the weaker parts of enemy heavies.

It can chew up tier 4s and tier 5 mediums

WHY
Please tell me that wasn't in a real battle.

How big are the replay files?
WHY
because it does more damage, obviously

Around 400KB to 800KB each
fuck sake
only have my laptop atm, tried to grind some T-43
10 fps average on ultra low graphics
core temp is off the scale (100C and over) :v:
FUCKING SHIT BW ENGINE

When I can play BF3 on ultra smoothly and a shitty tank game with a shitty engine maxed out at like 20fps i think bigshit, i mean bigworld, has a problem
So if I start playing this what tree would be the most fun to go down first?
someone should make a tree guide for newbies because that question is asked here every day
