Good for ambush but if you're on a map with steep hills then you're fucked. The turret is really limited in how far it can move up and down, due to the whole turret having to move rather than just the gun.
However I find with it's speed and revolver mag, it's a superb ambush or hit and run tank.
On Seigfried line, i just drove around the streets at high speed, firing 2-3 shots at tanks sides and rears as i drove past as they frantically tried shooting at me.
Think I finished with 5 kills in the end.
Best thing to do is fly past a tank and take shots or while a tank is distracted, get in behind them, unload 6 shots up their assholes and then drive off.

So much this. The 12T has the potential to be an ASS KICKING shit stomping tank, but it doesn't get into the matches it needs too. There needs to be 2 checkboxes next to the battle button for it, one says "suiscouting" the other says "I want to T5-6 games please"

I'll get frenchies later though, so far my highest one is an H35 (I can research the AMX12t if I wanted to but hell no I do not want to).
You should point out that the first half of the French tree are very slow and very well armored, but the latter half sacrifices armor for lots of mobility and auto-loading guns.
Also as a general rule of thumb, Russians favor damage, Americans favor DPM, and Germans favor accuracy in their respective guns. In addition, US armor is focused on the turret, German armor on the front, and Russian armor is usually distributed everywhere in smaller amounts. French armor is either distributed everywhere in larger amounts, or doesn't exist.

Yet somehow i survived 40 shots, around 10 of those were from a hetzer and not a single shot from him penetrated.
The only things that persistently kill me in the duck tank are HE rounds

That must have been one dumb Hetzer because his gun is accurate and powerful enough to hit the lower part of the hull which is only protected with aged cheese.

I have never been put into anything less than a tier 7 match with mine.
I really regret using the 14k free experience I had before the French tanks. I just can't believe how shit the B1 is. This tank really is shit. Should I start using HE?
I just hope there is some free gold offer in the near future.

I can't believe how bad some artillery are, I was hit [b]8[/b] TIMES in my IS3 by one stationary arty, he broke EVERYTHING but my gun and radio, and killed all but my gunner before he finally killed. The friendly arty didn't even know what counter artying is. ffs

Nope, just today I was put in a match where the enemy had 5 TDs to our 1, and our 1 was a T3 TD at that while they had at least 2 SU-85s plus a ton of nasty heavies.
Also, broke my record for number of kills in one match by killing 4 tanks. Would've been 5 or more but a damn ghost StugIII popped me from a distance.
I'm actually able to DAMAGE tanks that are a higher tier than me! This is AWESOM! 8U
It was also vastly amusing sitting a whole 8 meters away from a B1 who refused to move yet continued trying to shoot me, with every single shot of his bouncing off or dinging me.

Fuck your shit we got all the duck tanks. (PS we won by sending them all mid while I murdered (read one shot tier 5 and below tanks) everything to their point with that 12t being my right hand tank.)
