I grind my E8, SU-85/StuG (but that's just for better guns I don't think I'll continue TD lines until later) and PzIV right now.
It's manageable, but it takes up most of my time for playing games and shit (aka when I'm not at work even though I play games at work all the time lol)

So I tried it, typing in "LEEROOOOY JEEEENKIIINS" as I blitzed my way through the middle of El Halluf, then I sat back and waited. Got blown up in one hit by a KV.

Also, for new players: your average exp will be low if you stay at lower tiers, so don't be worried if it's a lot lower than other peoples' and people are talking about terrible players with an average exp near to yours.

Finally done with the JagdPz IV. I will now take a break from tank destroyers (or at least the German ones, the US and their rotating turrets look enticing) because I am kind of bored of them. I'll just continue grinding my VK3601 so I can get the Tiger VI. (I only have 20k xp out of the 45k needed aka time to grind some more).

I KNOW FUCK. Until I learned that I just can't rely on the team to get anything done right, I used to get so mad watching them totally drop the ball. I'm always stuck wondering why people at higher tiers are even more retarded than people at the tier 3 level. They face their sides to the enemy, hang out in arty zones, congo line into big guns, never flank, watch our base get capped and do nothing about it.
At least there isn't nearly as much arty now. Playing with all that arty was like grinding your face off with a cheese grater. I literally just stopped playing until they fixed it because I was getting popped every game. It wasn't even skilled arty, it was the fact that 5 guys shot at me. One of the dip shits has to connect. I still don't understand why arty even works the way it does: shooting a moving tank with an artillery piece is unrealistic and stupid. But of course I go off on a tangent. Point is, high tier play gets really annoying.

Yeah don't worry about stats and medals too much, there are just too many factors to really use stats as a good way to judge a player.

The Wolverine is easily the best low tier TD in the game, a very worthwhile investment. The Slugger however, I haven't used it but I haven't heard much good about it.
How does one pilot the T-50? I often find that it has less of a "na na na na na you can't hit me" factor than the T2 light - experienced tankers can easily snipe it / the tracks across the map moving perpendicular to them at 60km/h.

You know, I do have to comment on something. With the Type 59 (and if you noticed, the Lowe and KV-5 also) moving up to higher tier combat, doesn't that kind of fuck the people who bought the tank for what it was? I'm not saying it shouldn't be moved (I agree with the move), but I am saying owners of such tanks probably deserve some form of compensation for having their tanks changed.
