I still have to buy the Slugger & JgPzIV and I'm within a few thousand exp from unlocking the T-34, Sherman, PzIII/IV and AMX 40. I'm going to be needing full 75% crews for all of those except the AMX 40, seeing as I'm keeping the Wolverine & StuG III along with their crew and the rest are tier fives.

T59 are incredibly easy to ammorack with anything that can reliably penetrate the front hull. Just aim at the right side of front hull. You can both set it on fire and ammo rack it.

Tis funny, they getting rid of the Type59 then they should get rid of some of the french tanks. Pretty sure the AMX 75 or whatever is like pretty much a modern day tank in comparison with most of the tanks in the game.
I will admit they're a tough tank but not invincible. If you know where to shoot then they're not much trouble. Although 5-6 of them on one team is fucking trouble but same could apply to any good medium tank in great number. 6 T-44s would ruin your day too

Most likely both, they probably see that this will get out of hand soon if they don't do something but I assume that the numbers are in the "kind of a problem" area so any buying spree probably wont hurt really things any further then they already are and it gives them a little more time to make a few extra bucks.

Yeah. My guess is that T59 sales were dropping like flies, and their marketing department came up with this to squeeze a large sum of dosh one more time before abandoning it. And it fit well with the community's cries of the T59 fucking matchmaking, so they're hitting two birds with one stone: get loads of dosh from desperate people buying T59 before it becomes unavailable, [I]and[/I] pleasing the community for appearing to help fix the matchmaking.
now the only question remains.

Also they still have those new premium tanks like the IS-6 and 88 Jagdtiger coming up, so they might be preparing the store for the new cash cows.

Yeah, I don't see how it'll fix match-making at all considering there are already metric ass-tons of Type 59s out there.
People will get slowly bored of their T59s. Not many, but their numbers will drop, as they did with Lowes and KV-5s, even though you can still buy these.
