I would say Get the KV (tier 5 Russian heavy) as German Heavies take awhile to get to and are somewhat complicated to play.
and the KV is great at onehitting lower tier tanks and trolling higher tier ones with the 152mm gun.

If you ever catch someone engaged with someone else or in any way unable to immediately react to you your absurd DPM, decent pen and good accuracy ensure that half of their health is gone by the time their turret turns, if they decide to do it. It's still a TD though, so if they're focused on you you're screwed.

Premium is something that increases your earnings per battle, and experience by 50%. As you subtract credits for repairs and ammo after each battle, it actually increases your profit from around 60-75%. Currently the break even (where you lose around the same number of credits you gain) is around tier 7-8. With premium it moves so that these tiers are profitable. It costs roughly 15 dollars a month to buy (less if you buy a longer period of time).
You could go for both the German heavy tree and the Soviet heavy tree at the same time. When one tank is destroyed, and you are waiting the battle to finish, you can leave the battle, and join up to another in a different tank.

A Premium account, you can buy gold (with real money) and purchase a Premium account for X amount of time (most just call it Premium time) during which you get a 50% bonus to XP and Credits from matches.
You can also use gold to buy premium Tanks that have almost no repair bill and make shit tons of Credits so are obscenely profitable, and Premium ammo that have more penetration than standard ammo (though for random battles, especially at low tier, it really isn't worth buying.) and you can use Gold to transfer XP out of elited Tanks (Tanks that you have unlocked everything for or premium tanks which are elited by default because they have no upgrades) as Free XP for use on any other Tank.

I once killed a guy in a Tiger while I was in my Type 59 by hitting him as I kept coming closer then ramming him and penetrating his flat, front armor as he kept dinging my turret. you have to go through the KV to get to the KV3, but I'd get the KV3 over the KV-1S if I were you. The KV-1s is just a heavy tank that was told it's to fat and heavy to be a medium.

Look into Tank Destroyers, they're the "hide in the bushes and snipe at people at long range" area denial tanks.
Marder II and Hetzer are pretty good tanks, Hetzer with 105 is a troll tank.

I'd stick with the Marder II until you have lots of free time because IMO the Hetzer isn't very fun to play any more

More like the KV-3 was a bad tank so it decided to get armour and go really slow, then realize the armour didn't work against what it was fighting, while the KV-1s is the fast IS.
I'm thinking about german artillery or mediums with some sort of soviet tank. Whats a good soviet sniper?
