Much, much less armor. 35mm hull and 50mm turret - it will be penetrated by absolutely everything. I'm not sure of its tier though.

Dueled two T59s in my 13/75 today, defeated both from 100%. They cried, HARD.
also, the ARL grind is pretty painful, but keep in mind the amx m4 upgrades FAST because of this.

They share the gun so their ability to deal damage is same, while KV-1S has mobility and KV-3 armor. The armor of both is insufficient in high tier battles, but the speed of both doesn't make either of them capable of reliable dodging.
Simply put - KV-3 can take punishment in low tier battles, where only few tanks can really hurt it, while KV-1S is more viable in top tier matches, because you get at least a bit of speed which you can use for tactical advantage, while armor would be useless.
I think it wholly depends on your luck and into which matches you get.

1v1 KV-3 vs KV-1S, as long as the KV3 is good and angles, the KV-1S doesn't have much of a chance, other than a desperate circling attempt.
I don't understand how people say the AMX 13/75 is so good (even after getting it fully upgraded and with 100% crew). Any type 59 that gets killed by one or even loses even a single point of health should be ashamed.
The 13/90 and up, however - you don't stand a chance in a dogfight, but if you can stick to a piece of cover and hit the tracks / engines you have a reasonable chance of winning a peekaboo fight.
Guys, the shells in my King Tiger found out they were made from recycled 88 shells from the Tiger, and now they won't stop dinging off other tanks to commemorate their fallen comrades. What do?

The KV-3 has 80 HP more, which barely makes a difference. Your gun doesn't ding on either one, unless you manage to hit the KV-1S' turret, which dings pretty much everything, including Jagdtiger once.
I decided to play this game and first of all, the graphics are really quite good for a free game. In addition I killed two tanks my first game and FUCK YEAh it was awesome
