Two Alarm Electrical fire, we still don't know what caused it because there's no wiring in the area where it started.
I'm sitting on the first floor, grandfather is in the kitchen and I'm in my mother's bed reading my Problem Sleuth books, my two brothers are both downstairs both asleep, everyone else is out. I hear a pop, after a bit the smoke detector goes off I check the basement and the first floor find nothing and then run upstairs (through all of this my grandfather is walking around like "the fuck is going on?") I see smoke as soon as I open the door and when I get to the top of the stairs I take one look at the kitchen and I see the glow of the fire and a few flames shooting out from the other side of the room (my view is obstructed by the fridge) so OH FUCK. I ran back downstairs catching my grandfather on the way down and tell him to call 911 (Thankfully the neighbors had already called) ran down to the basement and woke booth my brothers up and grabbed the extinguisher on the way back up with my brothers and the first one was a dud, by the time we got the second one shit was too big so we grabbed the pets and my grandfather got out by that time the first firefighters had arrived and they whacked the roof open and hosed the fucker down.
Most of the damage from the fire it'self is upstairs, the kitchen and bathroom are gutted, and everything else on the floor is pretty fucked. Water damage from the hoses is what got the rest of the house, AND IT ALL FLOWED DOWNSTAIRS STRAIGHT INTO MY SHIT. my brother's laptop was floating, shit was ankle deep, manage to get my HDD but that's about it.
So now shit's gonna be fucking uncomfortable for a while, lots of shuffling around with relatives, getting us a new place for the meantime while the place gets rebuilt might take up to three weeks.
shit's pretty stressed right now, but we'll be fine, no internet tanks though, any news on 7.2?

holy shit, malinovka with tetrarch. Our team has 2 AFK tanks (these have a big role in this victory), get a good 8 kills and me and 3 others charge towards their camp with 2 enemies defending. We take out the Pz35t out without trouble and we try to cap. Only one tank tries to cap with me and the other 2 just die doing nothing to the pzh38 (the premium one). While this is happening another pz35t is capping our side... the other living tank takes the pzh38 down to 5% and dies so I killed him. Now, the capping enemy tank does NOT destroy our AFK tanks so he is constantly spotted, and I proceed to spam shells towards his general direction.
With the third to last shell I hit him and hide behind a wreck of an ally and win.

Well I got my KV last night; so far I've not been impressed, but this is largely because I am using Stock Gear and I keep on getting put against IS-3s and that kind of stuff(thanks alot MM). But I'm going to keep working on it because I know very well of what it's capable of once it gets fully upgraded(I've probably been one-shotted by KVs more than I have any other tank in this tank outside of arty).
Currently the first priority for me is to get the 122mm, I already have it researched and I just need to get the tracks so I can mount it onto the tank and then after that I' work on getting the infamous derp gun.

The arl44 is without question the best tier 6 Tank currently in existence. the 212 pen 90mm is the icing on the cake, nothing has that kind of firepower that early, and the armor is respectable, exceptional even for it's tier.

I really doubt that one. I only bounced it once in my stock KV-1S, which has the same gun as the stock KV.

I still don't get why they would let the bdr, a tier 5 get a stock tier 3 gun that can't penetrate shit in the matches it gets into. TIER 9 EVERYDAY.
Especially since it takes 18k exp just to get a good gun.
Matchmaking should take into account of the fucking gun the tank is using, same with oh they got a higher tier arty we better give the other team two arties that got the same damage output as the higher tier arty or the exact opposite.
Just how the fuck did they manage to fuck matchmaking up so much from the closed beta.

I know the feeling...I hate being put against Tiers VIII and higher in a Tier VI and V, and then having to rely on how good my team is or how well we work together(and teamwork seems to happen very rarely outside of platoons and companies in standard battles). That and Wargaming.net(And a good majority of the WoT Community) claims that MM is working the way it should.

I think each tank should have matchmaking especially tuned to it rather than blanket values for most tanks.
The BDR should never get into anything higher than Tier 7 matches.

the balancing and tweaking required for something like that would take assloads of work considering how many tanks there are and how they'd have to tune every tank for every other tank

well it's more of tightening the back end of the matchmaking spread for each tank, there are a few special cases but for the most part sub tier 5 matchmaking is pretty balanced, but as soon as you get to tier 5 shit hits the fan and tanks wind up in higher tier matches where they can do barely anything and are essentially cannon fodder.
Max matchmaking value for every tank should be +2 of that vehicle's tier.
and if we have problems with vehicles being to powerful for their tier (french lights) [B]MAKE THEM HIGHER TIERS, THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF THE SYSTEM[/B]
