Late reply but:
-The Bison is a terrible SPG and the StPzII is even worse, try to go PzII -> Wespe if you're gonna go German SPG.
-The Bison gets in tougher battles compared to the other tier II SPG. If I were you I'd start out with a T57, in my opinion the best Tier II arty and probably the best beginner arty.
Pz4 is a strong medium though.

I hated the Pz4 during the beta.
I quite liked it. To be honest, I liked every tank in that tree, except for the VK4502 and Pz3 Ausf A. Never got the Maus though, and the VK4502 wasn't fully upgraded with the good cannon.

Nah, PzIV is definitely more of a medium than a heavy. VK3601 is a closet heavy. Actually a pretty good tier 6 tank for that matter.
But it's nowhere near as medium as a T-34, an M7, or a PzIII/IV

The PzIV and the VK3601 are actually pretty good tanks. The PzIVs gun is amazing accurate and fairly high penetration for its tier. The PzIV is the reason I don't give a fuck about KVs. The 3601 is just an all around good tank. It's well armored, fairly quick, and has a pretty good selection of guns. I still sometimes regret selling my PzIV for the garage space.

It's the KV-1S of mediums. A great tank, wrong class.

HELL yeah. Played 9 rounds with some pretty good dudes in my slugger, we won every round since the company's creation (9 rounds). Not a single draw or defeat. Our last battle was with AOD, down to our kv3 vs theirs, and it was pretty tense, but we won. It felt like a boss battle.
Made $350k off 9 battles and 20k xp, feels good. I feel that superior communication is what wins every game.
I didn't like the slugger before- but it seems it RULES in tier 6 companies. I always play defense with it, and stopped the enemy's caps on at least 4 matches. M36 is a great support tank. It's not very good at being a TD or a medium, but it seems perfect for supporting heavies, like the Jumbo used to be (RIP 105mm).

Don't use HE rounds unless you are using a Howitzer gun.
I'd really like to see IS-2 mod. 1944 as premium tank (not sure what tier though) , 120mm sloped at 60° gives [B]240mm[/B] of frontal armor. Though only 100mm of turret armor makes it quite vunerable.

IMO it should replace the current IS, it would balance out pretty good against the tiger (p) and the T29 then

Yeah man I agree what this game needs more of is premium tanks not fixes and redesigns of basic gameplay mechanism that have been flawed since closed beta over a year ago.
Is the IS-4 made of pure bouncium? Its the only tier 9 my BL-10 struggles to penetrate

BL-10 penetrates me all the time. IS-4 has a massive weakspot in the middle of its armor, sometimes even D10T or D-25T penetrates me frontally.
Bought my old SU-85 tank destroyer back on the recommendation it makes quite a profit. Yes it does.
Only usually costs around 2-3k to repair and around 1k for resupplying an average battles worth of ammo. Makes about 10-20k for a win
Quite a nice tank, forgot how much fun I had with it. Low cost, high damage tank with the 107mm gun in tier 5-8 games.

T-43 is horrible in all ways, so I guess you might as well go straight for the T-44. The new T-44 is actually pretty decent, just need a wet ammo rack.

A lot of tier 4, 5 and 6 tanks are really good, but they always are getting put in the bottom of match, often against tier 8 premium tanks, like the type 59. Getting into a tier 4-6 match with a III/IV, for instance, is great fun.
