It is tiny, with thick slanted armor and a decent gun. It was probably my favorite premium tank to play in the beta.
I wonder how long until the 2C Bis is released. I know I have said that I may never purchase gold again but that might change just for this one tank.

The Matilda is like the AMX40, but faster (on flat ground), and with a better gun. It is arguable that it also bounces more than the AMX-40 against higher tier opponents. It was not that rare to bounce 75mm L/70 and 88mm L/71 shots.
And just think, the British will be getting this tank, with upgrades.

AMX 38 = bounce, bounce, bounce until someone uses an HE shell that detonates inside of the tank, killing the entire crew.

Got out of a match where there was 5 arty's on each team
3 of ours had the clan tag "PONY" and were spamming about saving butterfly and rainbow something or something like that. they then cried hax when they were all counter arty'd to death.

If you get into situation where you don't need the alpha nor the penetration, the IX guns beat the X ones on tier IX tanks.

I mean, it's not worth enough to use them over the X ones, 90% of the time, but you can get better result sometimes.
The extra pen is almost always necessary though... alpha's nice too

At times I found myself shooting almost exactly on reload with E-75/105, penetrating each and every shot, almost all match long.
And when that happens, you just wreak havoc.
Proper matchmaking makes all the difference in the world. Couple Tier 3 and a bunch of Tier 2? Sounds great to me. Maybe not so great for the other team.
I just kept driving until I got to the base and circled a bunch of enemies. I hadn't fathomed for a second that I'd be [i]that[/i] successful.

I'm horridly late, but that video also mentioned 2 new game modes being tested, I only understood that one of them will have a neutral point somewhere in the map and the teams will have to fight for it. I think it's called "Territorial war" or something, it definitely has the word "war" in it
the other was called "Assault", couldn't understand what it's about tho
My second day ever playing. Worked my way up to a Marder II td, funny though I do much better with the MS-1 the game just gave me at the start.
