They're not going to. CBS forbid it. Its too far into the future. They were going to make a ship design that would look similar, an ancestor of the design, not sure what happened there, might have been CBS as well.
Ok so there are 2 test servers now.
"Redshirt" is what tribble used to be. (aka where everything goes before 'live'
"Tribble" Is the Beta Server.
You need another 10gb of space to use Redshirt, but it doesn't download that, it copies it over from your existing files.
You know, unless I just got super magical internet that can download 10gigs in 2 minutes.

I never minded the ground combat, so I can't really comment, but from the feed back I've read, its improved a lot.
I want to get back into those fleet actions, I'm more exicted for this game than I am for Skyrim!

I did two free trials, and I pretty much loved it. BTW whatever happened to multiple players in the same ship? Did that ever or it going to ever materialize?
I'm actually looking forward to this, been meaning to start playing again. Finally can start using my heavy cruiser again and finally get an exploration one.

It lets you download the client off the website so I have no idea, I doubt the code works with STEAM though.
I'm uploading videos of me doing the "Stranded in Space", one of the first missions you do after finishing the Tutorial. It is not the best video quality but it is in 720p
Mind you I'm at a max level and the mission scales with you, so it doesn't represent what a new player would encounter.
I'm going to say right now that I'm not a good player, heck I nearly die in the last part. Also I'm a clicker (someone who clicks the buttons instead of using the Keyboard shortcuts for those who don't know the MMO 'lingo')
