the fact of the matter is: about 50% of people use GFWL without many problems - for the other half, it can be virtually impossible to play online. that is NOT okay.
How is it shit? [editline]28th February 2011[/editline] User error.
Big clunky, looks like ass, keeps completely breaking up NAT for a massive amount of folks, requires a massive bunch of updates, has a lan ping limit and I could go on.

What does that even mean? If you're on a LAN ping shouldn't be an issue.
They should get R. Lee Ermey to voice Sarrano in the next game. Throughout the whole game I was thinking how much more awesome Sarrano would be if he was voiced by him.
I completed the game, but I want more.
I loved using the boneduster to set up awesome combos, but I'm replaying it on very hard mode and 4 rounds for it cost like 500 points now, so I can't really use it that often. My primary weapons are generally the revolver and the flailgun, the flailgun ammo is expensive but it's so easy to get 1000+ point combos with it it pays for itself easily.
I ended with 13,000 on Normal, and oh man, when I replayed on Very Easy for fun I had almost 110,000 points left over.
i was playing on Very Hard though

Another is to tell people with problems that they do not have any problems. stop doing that. I do agree though. Overall GFWL isn't as fail as people want it to be. Then again, No one would miss it if it just fucked off quietly in the night.
i was playing on Very Hard though
imo THE way to play the game. Had so much fun. [editline]1st March 2011[/editline]
Still waiting for the demo so I can see how it runs.
It runs great. I have a 4850X2 and a phenom 955 with 4 GB DDR3RAM and I run the game with 2x anti-aliasing without problems.

Send a message. Add a friend. Join a friend. Navigate the menus. Also things that are rather sluggish with GFWL, or at least on older versions - it's a massive pain in the ass at times.

So I was playing some solo Anarchy for the first time, and I was about 6 rounds into it when I noticed my leash had a cool down timer. Is it always like that or is there a certain upgrade that causes it?
i am guessing everyone can sign into live through this game? because it STILL cannot connect my account.
So how is it that this game is pure stutters and frameskips on powerful rigs?
so how is it that this game is pure stutters and frameskips on powerful rigs?
UE3 performance plummets the more complex effects are added.
This is possibly the best rage reliever ever.
Anyone play this on the Ps3? The matchmaking is horrendous and nobody on my FL has the game
Just can't get into this game.

Halloween is a very fun skillkill. You get it by kicking a NOM parasite onto someone then kicking or pulling them into something electric
Halloween is a very fun skillkill. You get it by kicking a NOM parasite onto someone then kicking or pulling them into something electric
Just get one on the head and kick em into those fly things
Killing things with Nom Flies was probably the hardest skillshot for me because besides when they're introduced there's like one other opportunity to do it ever. I never managed to kill someone with a newsbot either. They're just so tucked away that I couldn't get it out in the open fast enough. :smith:
This game becomes really weird when you realize it stars Oghren and Commander Shepard.
This game becomes really weird when you realize it stars Oghren and Commander Shepard.
WHAT! It was easy to catch the drunken dwarf in space... especially because he obviously only can act drunken dwarves, but where's Shepard?
WHAT! It was easy to catch the drunken dwarf in space... especially because he obviously only can act drunken dwarves, but where's Shepard?
Trishka is voiced by Jennifer Hale, who also voices the female Commander Shepard.

Pretty sure it was around the area where you're on the resort looking place just after you get the sniper rifle. The rest of the newsbots I've seen have indeed been tucked out of the way. I got all the drink bottles though, yarr pirate
