Actually, strangely enough I once got a dumb look for asking about a Valve game. I can't remember which though.
But one time I walked into the store, the guy had an "Ugh" expression on his face like he knew I was coming into pre-order Call of Duty or something. I walked up and asked if I could pre-order Portal 2 and his face kinda dropped into a shock expression without opening his mouth and was like, "Damn good choice." He even asked if I knew about Duke Nukem and he told me about Bulletstorm being like it and asked if I wanted to pre-order. I told him no thanks because it was going to be on Steam and he seemed shocked that I knew what Steam was.

I don't think we have GAME in America. I usually go to a small store called Play 'N' Trade where they have a bunch of consoles hooked up and they let you try any game you want in the store before you buy (or don't). Hell, they even have consoles dating back to the N64 and they have Dreamcasts and N64s hooked up. It's pretty damn cool and their trade in policy is more generous than what you find at gamestop. At Gamestop they give you money based on the demand of the game you're trading in as well as it's age. At Play N Trade they only care about the condition of the disc and if it's in the original box.

Yeah man, in my local gamestop pc games aren't even shelved. You have to ask the shopkeeper and after giving you weird looks he has to go to the back of the store and grab you a copy. :colbert:

My GAME isn't to bad but Gamestation on the other hand absolutely sucks. I want there once and asked for a copy of Mass effect about 2 months after it came out and they said "Sorry we don't stock old PC games". Thank god for Steam.

Is anyone else getting really bad performance with this game? It runs with 20 FPS maxed and no noticeable different between Medium or low. I turned off AA and V-Sync too. The only thing that drastically affects FPS is the resolution change.

Nvidia GTX 295

GTX480 SLI
SLI isn't supported yet, so only one 480 is being used and the FPS caps at 62 despite the fact I turned off VSync. Still getting a constant 62 FPS with everything maxed, however.
New drivers need to be released so I can try this shit in 3D.
