Can I get some sort of sword-sized icon for a fish-vsword as postted in the first post? Also I still need someone to draw me some 16px versions of the op-fish, because resizing isn't perfect, and I'm lazy.

I created a coral mob spawner for this mod, the fishes could spawn from it and it could be located at the bottom of the ocean.

Cheers. I'm still thinking about Coral (Means figuring out how to generate new blocks), or how to do nets. In Minecraft, two blocks can't overlap, which means the net would have to be some weird entity that wasn't affected by water. Somewhat above my skill level.
Will work on the Poison Fish making Poison swords, the Swordfish becoming a ...Fish Sword, and the Netherfish doing burn damage and then healing for more.
Should all fish (once used) become a skeleton fish?
Hmmm... what about stingrays? You could use their stingers as arrows, or something? Or maybe use them to poison other weapons?

I was thinking tool use. I mean, string your bow with Jelly instead of string? Shoots farther and more powerfully, perhaps? I'd be like the difference between rope and bungee cord.

Put string and jelly in the crafting table, makes elastic string. Then use for a bow.

That would make a pretty shit bow.
The principle of the bow is that the bow itself creates the energy needed to move the arrow, not the string.
The less elastic something is, more resistant it is to bending, which makes more strength to bend it necessary, which means that, for each unit of bending that is achieved, more reperative strength is formed by the bow. Strength which, when you release the bow, pushes the arrow.
I guess the reason why we don't use stone bows is that the degree of bendage until it breaks does not supply enough time to inprint enough velocity to the arrow, despite its bigger force.

A puffer fish would actually be a good idea for the poisonous fish, as some people do eat them (of course, they have to be cooked in a very specific way)
I guess a cooked puffer fish could have a 10% chance of not being properly cooked or something.

You know what would be fun? If you killed enough jelly fish and got their jelly, you could craft a block that works like a trampoline and bounces you up 2 blocks.
