Luckily, every FOV except the default looks shit.
I wish they could optimize the game a bit. It works like shit on my laptop. Although the rig should fairly suffice.
Luckily, every FOV except the default looks shit.
I dunno. I prefer 85 degrees over the default 70. Past that hurts my head, though.

Please?
Again, where did your source say this?
Real life. I really, really, really, hope he's wrong.
Luckily, every FOV except the default looks shit.
Not on a 4:3 screen.
Luckily, every FOV except the default looks shit.
It's not that simple. It depends how close you sit to the screen and how big your screen is. The idea is to mimic looking through a window into a world, and for that to happen the FOV needs to be tailored to your setup. Here's what I mean by this - The green blue circle is the viewer, the red line represents the screen.
Flatcore is a pretty neat discovery I found while lurking the mc forums (there's gold in there, but it's damn rare) Basically you start a world with flat terrain and generated structures on hardcore, you then see how long you can survive. You have to basically find a village and tear it into the items you need (it's pretty easy to find one. Usually less than a minute walking) Food is fairly easy to come by via farms, but higher tech stuff (and saplings) are harder to come by, you need to loot blacksmiths. Pretty fun and interesting, good way to mix it up. The LUDICROUS number of slimes may fuck you over though.
I just thought of an idea. It's like those threads in the source sdk mapping section where each person creates a room and the OP puts them all together in something like an apartment block showcasing everyone who participated's room. Doing that kind of idea would be cool in minecraft. I can imagine a long corridor with loads of doors and usernames above them, each leading to the users creations within.
Well, I think Notch is finally learning his lesson: KyleMcCarthy: Everyone, I have terrible news. @notch is dead. notch: I am not dead. Not even on the inside. Tommyx50 (that's me!): @notch Lies. You have no soul. notch: @Tommyx50 I agree.
You lose your soul when you hit a set amount of money.
You lose your soul when you hit a set amount of money.
Yet you guys praise Gabe as if he does? Alright, I'll stop with the attempts at witty retorts.
Yes, all of facepunch objectively praises Gabe
Well Gabe is a lot sexier, although I do like Notch's beard, but he only has a beard because all good indie developers have a beard.
after notch's fanbse started continually jerking him off and people actually bought his game he stopped being a good developer because he's now not under any pressure to make a good game because he has enough money to swim in and enough fans to stroke his ego plus they are a small indie dev team making three games. three. okay.
Yet you guys praise Gabe as if he does? Alright, I'll stop with the attempts at witty retorts.
He had enough to buy it back.

A good number of them have been immensely popular.
Shit what did I say to deserve the dumbs? Unless you meant were did he get the info from, than I have no idea. [editline]22nd January 2012[/editline]
Yes, all of facepunch objectively praises Gabe
Well to be fair, Gabe isn't a lazy bastard who doesn't listen the community, works at a snails pace, and only adds things that deem interesting to himself. I love notch and all for MAKING minecraft, but he is unfit to continue it.
It was sarcasm. I was pointing out the fact that he was implying that because a majority/a few people like gabe quite a bit that means the comparison can me made universally.
It was sarcasm. I was pointing out the fact that he was implying that because a majority/a few people like gabe quite a bit that means the comparison can me made universally.
I know. Still though, it's hard to make a comparison between the two.
Did you tweak the shaders or was it installed in by default, if you did, can you link them to me? Please?
I changed mipmaps in Video Options menu and did something with fog...
the new rainforest/jungle biome should have cocoa trees cocoa's uses as a resource could be expanded upon as well to make cocoa plantations viable
Just installed a ATI HD 5450 and I'm getting these weird graphical problems: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/gHYld.jpg[/thumb] Any help would be appreciated.

Ahh, "Use application settings" was un ticked no wonder, Cheers.
I fucking hate this swamp. I'm going to replace all the grass and replace it with wool. Take that, notch.
Apparently all of our server info was deleted. We're gonna restart by building a massive world in Creative and then switching over to Survival and role playing.
Hey can anyone point me in the direction of a good permissions plugin? Thanks!
Apparently all of our server info was deleted. We're gonna restart by building a massive world in Creative and then switching over to Survival and role playing.
Where exactly can I find information on this server? I'd like to pitch in.
