I've had spelunking expeditions where I'd return with over 4 stacks of iron, nearly a stack of gold, 20+ diamonds and a little over a stack of lapis, but that map was chock-full of iron for some reason. Shame that same seed won't work as well in 1.0.
Anyone have any idea's for a small mining platform in the ocean? Design wise I mean. (It's for buildcraft and I've just spotted a bunch of oil)

The way I see it is that the orbs themselves aren't souls, but instead bits of souls, and when you fill up the bar you have enough of the soul-stuff to constitute an average-sized soul, which currently has no uses save for enchanting an item, whereas they really should function like skill points or whatever (spending them on skills or whatnot, since the soul-bits would also probably carry personality and knowledge and suchlike). Hell, even if the only other use they had was that of making items, that would kinda be ok.

That's the added HUD for the Farmcraftory mods. Adds a lot more crops, fish, and cooking. They're forge based mods though.

I have no idea what the hell is going on, but minecraft customizer seem to be down for me, but not for anyone else, it just gives me a "Can't find the server at minecraftcustomizer.net" error when I try to go there.
Only 5 new posts since last night? What's happened to Minecraft to make people stop talking about it?
