The 40 movespeed from tier 2 boots is going to get me places 2 seconds faster
if i go from top to bottom tier 2 boots will get me there maybe 5 seconds faster ontop of the 15 seconds it already takes

You're going to be so much better off with a shroud or catalyst why would you ever need to be somewhere really fast in the first 10 minutes as ryze you are going to be crapped all over with your tear and sorc boots

use the minimap.
e.g see enemy in mid lane, be gp, look at minimap, hover over minimap and press R.
or at least i think thats how it works, never really played with global ults

if you try hitting the mid tower you'll end up killing wolves or wraiths

if you click and hold on a part of the map, you can see it with the locked camera
What's the benefit of getting boots+HP first?
Should only mid lane get them?
Also, for tanks, such as Alistair and Malphite, would it be good to start with Regrowth Pendant and make it into a Philo/Shurelya's?

The thing is you're going to be aiming with something like 1/100000th of the accuracy
It's so strongly recommended just to click with left click to look at the area then aim it
Boots + pots is more flexible than dorans as it gives you some sustain, mobility to dodge skillshots, run from ganks.

boots + hp gives you sustain (450 hp of it), and movespeed, which is crucial for midlane to land spells, especially skillshots
yeah, supportive tanks should usually get a shurelya's.

Any support should get a shurelyias
it's pretty much the best team supporting item in the game, it's the sona of support items

if you need the camera on you just hold space
aegis is also a nice thing to slap on, not necessary but still viable
boots + pots is viable for every champion
not the best thing on all of them, but it's definitely a choice

Was OK. Didn't screw up but ganks weren't good. If that guy picked anyone else he would of performed tons better.

But otherwise it was a good fight. Game was really close, they took a few Dragons, we took a bunch because I kept the time on each respawn and made sure they were out of position before we took it (Trundle was top, just killed Vayne, etc)
Typical that the enemy team gave Alistar a bum wrap for losing the game though. He was alright, he got a few good initiates but ultimately his death allowed us to take Baron. Also he bought few wards.

I reckon most non support should get it if they have no sustain/partner with heals. Some champions may need another early game item though, but usually it is a safe choice.

it's like 99% easier to hit anything and you don't spend 8 years aiming it
it works especially well on skills that require you to actually click on the champion you want to hit
