If one ally stuns someone and a second ally stuns another. You have ample oppertunitiy to throw down your Gravity Field. And in teamfights you just throw that sucker down to slow and possibly stun 2-3 enemies. It's not a great spell but it's not bad either.

yeah but unlike veigars stun (which is easier to land because its instant, fucktards), its got absolutely shit range.
like, me reaching out and punching viktors smug face when i'm standing two inches infront of him has more range than his W. I had to walk right into derpadinger's turrets just to land the stun.
speaking of which, its heimerderper freeweek, so all the tf2freaks will have a field day and a sudden string of bad losses with their sentry gun level 3

Gravity field is probably the best non ult stun in the game. It's an incredibly powerful area denial tool.
Also, I don't think Victor is bad. I run him with AP per level blues and yellows, flat AP quints and magic pen reds.

Blasting Rod
Augment Death
Lichbane
Deathcap
Void Scepter
Morello's or Deathfire
You'll melt people. You don't need to be traditionally tanky, because the poke range on your E is enormous. If people get close to you, you hit them with Q for a shield and drop your gravity field on yourself to discourage chasing.
You could also build him tanky with Spellvamp or MS quints, flat armor yellows, flat or scaling mr blues and magic pen reds.
You then get the Q augment, and build tanky AP, with a RoA, Rylai's and others. It's more effective early game, but you don't bring as much to the table during team fights.

You get little MS that doesn't change much.

the extra movement speed is neglible and you have your ult if you must chase.
Since nobody else buys swiftness chances are you will catch up with your ult

had to support an ashe at bot last game who went 0/4 and then bitched about our BR tryndamere being the reason we were losing all game, and didn't know how to last hit creeps so she'd just auto attack
she didn't even have a complete item until she built her bloodthirster at 25 minutes.. our team had 4 kills total by the end of the game because nobody had any damage
