Just had to jungle nasus because I had to answer the door in champ select and the champ select gave me nasus, with my skarner page and masteries.
Everything went better than expected, only top lane collapsed because it was talon solo against warwick and poppy, wither is amazing for ganks, you appear from a bush and people are at the very least likely to pop flash to get away.
On the downside your Q farm can end up incredibly under whelming.

Yeah at least with soulstealer and SotO they beat the normal items people buy (although soulstealer loses by like 2ap against deathcap because of deathcaps passive)

Buying soulstealer on karthus is basically the most cost effecient purchase in the game
ult to recieve at least 1 stack and always have ~10 for the whole game since even after you die you get more stacks

it gives you less hp with full stacks than a warmogs with no stacks
its hilariously bad
edit: i'm sure it beats a warmogs with no stacks because of the passive somehow (even by a little) but with full stacks on warmogs it has more than 15% more health

It's not how much he gives, it's how much he's cost efficient.
While we're on the subject of bad items, why is tiamat such a bad item? I've never built it myself, but the splash seems like a neat tool for farming.

It's too small to even farm with it. You'd need 2-3 to farm with it, but by then you set back your late game too much.

Tiamat's based off of Battlefury, which really isn't bad in Dota, but farming is a much bigger problem, and carries in that game can just afk farm and disregard their team for most of the game, and lifesteal and sustain isn't as readily available, so the regen it gives is good to stay in lane.
The problem is that LoL is a different game.
Also, why doesn't tiamat build out of a philo stone? That would be a start to moving it towards viability

That's the thing. Carries can just get Mercs and buy a better item instead.
Although if you play Anivia like Froggen from CLG EU, Soulstealer is really good. For those who don't know about Froggens' Anivia, he builds a Warmogs really early on her which makes it hard for her to be killed when her passive is up, buys a soulstealer and forces the enemy to either deal with mass AP from her or kill someone with Warmogs twice in one team fight. Of course it would be hard to do in a competitive game but could work.
