I play Twisted Fate when I'm not playing with my pro Udyr build and I, for one, am happy about Ionic Spark replacing Sword of the Divine. I'd rather get the extra health and chain lightning over a little more attack speed early game.

Just downloaded this game after hating it previously but now I am taking a liking to it, it actually has more depth than I first thought.

Do urgots heat seeking autoattacks scale that well with ad? if so I'd suggest replacing some of that armour pen since you get so much in the new masteries that flat ad does a lot more for anyone that has ad scaling abilities
Like on vayne you get mostly AD instead of armour pen since it scales better with her Q/E, nobody has enough armour unless they spec fulling in defence and you don't really want to be hitting those people anyway

he doesn't scale too well with AD, its 0.85 of total AD on Q and 0.6 of bonus AD on E, and apparently ARpen is better for AD scaling abilities
the armor pen is usually for the early armor that people get from runes, masteries and possibly auras anyway, not for people who actually build armor (even though starting with a cloth armor for wriggles is almost a fotm build now for carries, even with a support that has heals)

Propose a method for me to somehow make it less than 4 functions, it's not like I'm going to waste time laboring over a method to merge all 3 stacks into one function, that would be fucking hard/I might need to use a 3d graph

That graph compares those 2 items while having the optimal setup for a late game AD carry, also if it's for your caitlyn guide, don't use this guide, the arp from LW is way better since you use Q a lot, and your ultimate needs heavier damage.
You can say a lot of times that this guide is there, but the fact is that you NEED to be able to kill the bruisers, or do enough damage to keep them away from you, also a lot of heroes benefit so much more from LW than BC with their skillset, which is why everyone builds LW.
It's just how it is, there's nothing more to it, there's a few heroes where BC also helps their skills with the AS, especially with Vayne, and since she has her passive, bruisers aren't that big a problem anyway, even less with BC, which is why she is one of the only carries i would ever build it on.

Late game carry damage is like you become an AP caster as well, it's not sustained damage anymore, this game is about bursting down key targets, and catching them offguard, and LW is much better at that, than BC is, because you need the 3 initial attacks to do optimal damage.
This is just purely my opinion, and imo LW is a MUCH better item choice, because no matter what, someone from their team will get a shitton of armor, atleast that's how it goes in my ELO ofcourse, i can only speak from that.
Also Frozen Heart goes more against BC than it does against LW, because it's sustained damage and Frozen Heart OP to nerf your AS down again, while LW allows you to burst the faggot down so he either moves away with the aura or dies.

The thing is, if you get a black cleaver you delay other items (like BT or another PD) that would otherwise give you more damage, you don't even get black cleavers passive if you hit someone once and if you hit someone 4 times to get the passive to full stacks you would have killed them anyway with standard items
Isn't it also almost entirely negated with a single 700g item, since the most it can remove is 45 armour

and how does BC delay damage? BC gives more damage than IE up to 70 armor, and it's 1k cheaper.
