For new players... make sure to last hit. Don't greed, don't feed. Play safe until you're comfortable with your champion. Make an effort to use wards skillfully. Communicate with the team. And make sure to shit talk the opponents.

People don't like karma because she's difficult to play and she's not in elementz tier.
She's a great champ when played right. The good karmas are amazing, while the bad karmas are atrocious.
Although I prefer Sona, because her tits.

I used to build warmogs and fmallet with atmas, but then I did the math and decided that BT instead of warmogs/fmallet would be better (so just warmogs or just fmallet, not both).

76% spell pen with a void staff is so broken, end game damage is impossible to shield.

having a shield doesn't make you tanky
it just means you have a shield
though you could probably get enough ap to make that shield pretty impressive
300ap and max rank would mean a 520dmg shield
doesn't help you when you have no armor and you're on the ass end of a vayne train about to reach paintown

Just play with people while talking on skype , if they are not terribad you will win 80% of normal games.

in my case sometimes it's me getting unlucky with teams, but most of the time it's due to my own screwups
I don't really lose the games where I know what I'm doing, most of my losses are from either playing new champions or getting the absolute worst lanes and just being crapped all over
I'd say about a quarter of my losses are because of me just being worse than whoever I'm up against, and another quarter cause of bad teammates or them just outplaying us, the last half are cause of the above (me being countered or on new champions)

also the current ban list is once again much bigger than the amount of bans
skarner, vayne, kassadin, morgana, shaco, rammus, lee sin, sion and ahri (I generally didn't see ahri banned but whenever there was someone different it was ahri)
generally lee sin and sion aren't banned or sion is switched with morgana/vayne so whoever picks first can get them
9 champions on the ban list but only 6 bans well done riot, guess people will have to protest for 8 bans so you can break a few other champions that people simply can't ban
trynd probably needs to be on this list since he's banned in ~1400's and below quite a lot but I guess that's cause if anyone there was any good with the other champs on the ban list they wouldn't be 1400 and they somehow consider trynd op cause none of them can play nidalee, lee sin or teemo
Upcoming patch might add jax on to that list too depending on how his new counterstrike plays out in game
