Viktor is fun for me. His teamfight potential is really great especially if you get the gravity upgrade, as all of his abilities are aoe except his shield which increases his durability.

then why not pick brand/cass/karth instead if you want teamfight potential, all of them deal AoE damage, bring utility (brand not so much, but single target 2 sec stun) and are way better at laning/deal more damage than Viktor.
Hell, play Veigar instead.
Your Q is the same except it can scale your AP much further than your hex core upgrade (but no shitty useless shield), your W can completely shit out AoE damage, your stun is VERY useful, and your ult will completely nuke enemies, casters or not.
You also get an extra item slot. Y'know, for the items that count.
Playing against people of a high level was a challenge for a while, now when I go to join a game by myself without a level 30 friend the difference of skill is massive.
Idea:
Viktor's power transfer can hit other enemy champions on it's way back, dealing reduced damage but still giving more shield.

some defensive items preferably resists, health not that great on her thanks to passive. Idk if gunblade is worth it anymore after the nerf but it could be a good damage item on her. Perhaps deathcap at some point.
first item after you feel safe enough to build more damage is triforce though.

He's not fun if he's not really useful. And his hexcore item is still shit and some upgrades are significantly worse than others.
+54 AP isn't that good especially if you look at Veigar who can get +54 easy by the time Vik gets his upgrade
I mean, he has some utility, but his damage output is meh.

Shut up about that. I seriously hate when people say that shit. WELL THIS CHAMPION DOES X BETTER. Seriously, that's why there are multiple champions for people to play. If there was only one champion for each role because it's the best at it then this game would be boring. I find Viktor fun as fuck who gives a fuck if another champion is better than him as long as YOU are having fun then that is all that matters.

yes, but if you manage to survive the laning phase as poppy, the enemy laners are shitty enough for you to have won the lane with any other champion.
