That is some kind of pre-surgical ritual that i'm not aware of?
I like the one that's spinning around.
Maybe they are posting requirements that will actually run the game well. I can't even count hten umber of times I had the "recommended specs" and had a game run like shit. Speaking of which, could 8gb of RAM and a 5450 run this okay? This was an honest question, I wasn't trying to show off or anything...
Nope. An 8800 GT is the minimum requirement, and a 5450 doesn't come anywhere near that. Protip: Don't buy a prebuilt next time.

I Just traded all of my tf2 items away and got saints row 3, i can die a happy man now!

Even if you do look like a twat in those pants, they're ugly. Well of course you wouldn't agree, you're the one wearing the fuck ugly things.

I was looking at all of the new stuff added to Ship It, and I exited the menu and my guy says, "Fuck boats, I'll just ride in planes from now on."
Why yes, yes it does.
That is some kind of pre-surgical ritual that i'm not aware of?
dang how'd that guy get so huge?
I concur, i bought a prebuilt and it had a GTX 560 Ti in it. Protip: Get a better prebuilt next time.
Except prebuilts are massively overpriced 90% of the time.
Except prebuilts are massively overpriced 90% of the time.
I'm not complaining, mine was free. I just wanted to know if I could run it okay. So is it yea or is it nay? Edit: It's actually a 5750, not a 5450. Oops.
Except prebuilts are massively overpriced 90% of the time.
Oh well i don't care, mine can run pretty much anything so whatever. [editline]10th October 2011[/editline] THQ Collection be mother fucking mine.
Yeah, you save a lot building it yourself (if you can get legit Windows 7 for cheap), and you get a warranty on the individual parts, which is great. Plus its just nice knowing how every piece of your system is put together. And its extremely easy to do and takes no time. But whatever, some people just don't mind paying extra for someone else to build it for them - no problem with that. There's some decent pre-builts.
I concur, i bought a prebuilt and it had a GTX 560 Ti in it. Protip: Get a better prebuilt next time.
You "concur" means you agree with him, which makes this a bit confusing, since you don't seem to agree that you should build it yourself. Also, the GTX 460 is almost on-par, and since the superior (if you don't manually overclock) GTX 460 Talon Attack was only $110 recently, while the GTX 560 Ti is nearing $200, this is more of a case that you SHOULD build it yourself.
Edit: It's actually a 5750, not a 5450. Oops.
A 5750 should run it fine. If you have the 1GB version it should run it well, if not, you still meet the minimum specs. edit:
What items did you trade redbadger? I am also interested in doing this...
Well your price check here says 3-4 buds for 1 of your unusuals: http://www.tf2-utc.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4335 Buds go for like $23-25, so if you sold that unusual for 3 buds, you could just do 2 buds + some extra shit for Saints Row 3. People desperately want buds now - you might even just be able to do 2 buds for SR3.
I have a 5750; it'll run fine.
...you SHOULD build it yourself.
Matter of opinion.
Matter of opinion.
...you just took that entirely out of context. I'm not looking to get into an argument over building PCs here. I already said, building or not building yourself IS up to you. But getting a 560Ti in a pre-built is more of a case for the "build it yourself" side, because of what I said - there are better ATI and Nvidia cards for the price of a 560Ti.
Just to clarify, by 5750 they the AMD/ATI cards, not nVidia cards.

Yes you should build it yourself if you have the time but if you don't and would rather save a ton of time then just get a pre-built. Now stop.
Matter of opinion.
No. Self-made rigs are ALWAYS better than prebuilts because, well, you can actually choose the components you want. And it's cheaper to put a PC together yourself than to buy a pre-built one. The only downside is that you need to actually put it together - which is hardly a downside.
I have an asus g73jh, I know I'll be able to run the game on it's highest settings but the question will I be able to run it at that setting well? Man I wish I had gotten a desktop PC :suicide:
Different topic completely, but does anybody else prefer SR1's soundtrack to SR2's? It has more unsung indie bands and hidden gems than mainstream pop-rock like Paramore.
Yes, and the rap in SR1 had some non-sucky + humorous ones. Like the Old Man song and Gangsta Party.
so go up your nose with a finger or two and pull out one or a crusty crew
Were you trying to recreate Maero here? Looks a bit Gayro.
Nah man i was just testing the new sliders and i always had dig his hair. The funny thing though is that i haven't put the muscular slider on the max.
