It got removed :v:
I've copied down the sliders for my favorite character so I can re-make her right off. We'll see how that turns out; I'll probably keep her for singleplayer and make an inhuman monstrosity for co-op.
They've stated in the FAQ that the sliders were changed, hence the fact that characters aren't directly transferable from 2 to The Third. I would imagine your character would be slightly different than the original outcome you've copied down.
What's the point of penis sliders if everyone's just gonna pit it to max?
What's the point of penis sliders if everyone's just gonna pit it to max?
Well without them how would I make my steroid junkies and transvestite men that have pants so tight that it looks like they don't have male genitalia?
Should I preorder this game? Are the bonuses even worth it? I don't know if they're found ingame or not or if I can buy them as DLC or what.
It depends. Are you going to be buying it regardless? If so you might as well preorder to get the bonuses. If you're still thinking about it, might as well wait, since I don't think the preorder bonuses are worth it. As we've been more receptive to taking it from the ass by volition we don't really have much info on whether or not its coming out later or if the stuff is already in the game and the preorder just unlocks it.
I think the pre-order bonuses will be DLC. Through, the first time I saw it was from the DLC list where some DLCs like cheats were confirmed and others like Co-op were not.
You can expect to see DLC like Professor Genki's Super Reality Climax to be released as DLC after Saints Row 3 has been out for like a month or two, always happens with games that have Pre-order DLC.
I have had no interest in this series since launch, I have acknowledged it exists, and it did look kind of fun. But I've never really given the games a try (I still have SR2 in my Steam account from the THQ pack, I never installed it). But after reading a 6 or so page article about this in the Playstation Official Magazine, holy shit this looks great! Watching the videos on the first post confirmed that this is what GTA should have become. It's like, the launch of San Andreas caused a split, where R* went for the more serious side of things, and Volition just went, "Y'know what? Lets not do what they are doing, it doesn't seem right". Shit, the freedom to just fuck shit up in this alone seems to make it worth my limited time. Let alone the fact it actually seems to have good writing. I wish I had my PC at uni with me, it's within the recommended specs, but I don't. If I buy this any time soon, it might have to be on my PS3 (though judging by the reported bugs for SR2, this is probably a safer bet). Shame I don't really have much money :v:

I'm still gonna do it; it ought to be interesting to see how my characters look. Plus, if it doesn't turn out right, I have a fallback: this character is modeled on the Sniper, then turned female. I can just make the Sniper and change it if I need to.

SRTT's PC port is going to be done in-house, by Volition themselves, just like RF:A was. So I think that getting SRTT on PC is definitely a better idea, unless your PC is below the requirements. [sp](like mine)[/sp]
So. What platforms are people getting this on?

Third party ports always seem to be horrible. It's just a shame my PC that can play it is at home, and I can't really bring it to uni with me as it's a bit big to keep around. So I might be stuck with the PS3 version (no big loss to me, I kind of prefer these types of games on console).
So. What platforms are people getting this on?
PS3. Lol at that disagree, am i not getting it on PS3 or something? :v:
Here is the first 20 minutes of SRTT with HUGE SPOILERS. Also the intro of SRTT is phenomenal!
oh the advert for that intro video is of ainsley harriot, gotta make my character based on him now

When does that even get released, anyway?
No official date yet.
"THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN REMOVED DUE TO A BREACH OF THE TERMS OF USE" Well shit!
This was my response too. Just thought I'd quote it for comfort.
So. What platforms are people getting this on?
PC, since I got it for free, basically.

Damnit November get here already. I want this and skyrim. [editline]13th October 2011[/editline] Plus my birthday :D
oh god remaking team fortress 2 characters and giving them female parts or making them fat
She's long since ceased to be the Sniper, but yeah, a couple friends and I did this with some of the others. Fat two-eyed Demoman is kinda scary.
So. What platforms are people getting this on?
Not quite sure. Either PS3 or PC. The PS3 version gets some exclusive (or was it just free) DLC, while the PC versions allows modding and other fun things. Guess I'll wait and see how solid the mod-scene turns out, and the quality of the ports.

I'm getting this for 360. Most of my friends who are getting this are also getting it on 360, plus I've always seen this game as more of a lay back on the couch console game
Hopefully we'll get another Gentlemen of the Row-type mod for this on PC.
We expect the SR3 .vpp_pc format to be similar, just as the RFA vpp_pc format was to RFG (and SR2 as well.) We already have a Gentlemen of Steelport modding group together and are simply waiting for release to start digging in. I think it's safe to assume that there will be another mod like GotR for SR3.

Cool, spiky baseball bat's. If we can be a midget in this game i will create captain baseball bat boy.
Being in Japanese makes it seem like some strange game no one in the West will ever understand. But it's made in the West!
