I loved how he pulled the Genki head off and another one popped up.
I wish it came out October 15th instead of next month.. :(
I don't! That would mean it's been out for 3 days and I haven't played it yet...
I like how some reviewers say the Saints Row franchise is worse than GTA IV. Boy, look at me, do I like playing bowling with a fat fuck Yugoslavian and watching TV inside the game I'm playing on my TV. How can people have so much fun with going into a tron battle arena and fighting a human boss character who makes himself a fucking dragon in this virtual world? Pfft!

GTA IV is more subtle with its freedom, satire and story. Aiming for a more serious and realistic free-roaming game than a wacky one, but still maintaining some of the humour from the old games. The game also sets out to be more immersive, which can make it a lot more fun to relieve stress with for some people. It also had an absolutely incredible amount of work put into it by hundreds of people, and it shows. Saints Row is about trying to find every way to blow random shit up while looking as ludicrous as possible, having little semblance of seriousness to its plot or gameplay, set out with the intention of being as stupidly fun as possible. I'm pretty sure the developers have even said that they want to make everything so stupid and implausible that it's awesome. They are two completely different games, and whether one or the other is superior is almost purely subjective at this point. Can we shut the fuck up about this already.
Dont start this shit again, both franchises are good.
You really can't compare them, they have completely different styles.

You can't really compare them really, they both focus on completely different things.
New video on gamespot's YT channel. Shows off customization and stuff. Everytime I post it here though it doesn't seem to work.

You visa ends with 49.99, now I can steal your money.
I started considering buying this after I saw the third trailer for it. I saw that 8 minute gameplay trailer and wanted it even more. I mean, hover-bikes? Hovercrafts with lasers? This shit is crazy. The one thing that bothers me.. I'm SO used to GTA 4's car system. Like, how you control the car. You hit another car while going fast, you can keep on driving. I remember I wanted Just Cause 2. I bought it and was severely disappointed because of how hard it was to drive a car. Hit something once, and you spin the fuck out. I have high hopes for this game though. I have never played the previous saint rows though. So, since I know nobody here knows how driving in Saints Row 3 will be, how was it in Saints Row 2? More like GTA 4[easy-going, can crash w/o coming to a dead stop/spinning out], or like Just Cause 2[come to a dead stop or spin out when you hit another car]? I'm hoping it will be like GTA 4, that way I'm more encouraged to buy it.

In SR2 your car has so much mass it will knock huge APC tanks out of the way if you have enough speed. There's even a cheat called Mass Hole which is even more ridiculous. With that cheat, even a tiny little pocket motorcycle would knock an oncoming train out of the way.

http://www.cheatcc.com/xbox360/saintsrow2cheatscodes.html#.Tp3WC2N4KyY ALL those are usable cheats? And it only stops you from getting achievements? Wow. Sounds like it's a definite buy from me!

Evil cars and pedestrian war are a couple of my favorites. Also, if you don't save your game after activating a cheat then it won't flag your save and you can still get achievements. For example, do some missions, manual save, activate cheats, fuck around (but don't save,) come back later and load your last save before activating cheats. You can continue on and get your cheevos.

pre-ordered last week cost me a grand total of 30€

loved the ending.

Haha this video is amazing! I wish I could like double preorder or something
Haha this video is amazing! I wish I could like double preorder or something
You can. One pre-order for you, one for someone else.
You can. One pre-order for you, one for someone else.
I meant I don't have the money and I wish I could give more

Fuck yeah "throwing people" confirmed! I loved that in SR2.

Is it possible for anyone to make a gif. of that last clip of him jumping over and punching the fur-suit in the face? It'd be great :v:
Fuck yeah "throwing people" confirmed! I loved that in SR2.
Dare I say it, it looks even better.
The animations of this game looks sexy compared to saints row 2 where you would do an animation then in a second go back to idle position, which looks really weird. In Saints row 3 everything looks smooth :).
Is it still worth it to buy SR2 right now, or wait 'till christmas and buy SR3? I don't have enough for MW3, SR2 AND SR3. Only twenty bucks on the marketplace for SR2.
