SR3 is $90, my bank account is $72, I am detecting a disturbing lack of funds. Now that's dedication.
Get someone to buy the game for you where its cheaper and send them money through paypal, I would do it for you If I had the money.
Any idea when the initiation station's coming out?
Speculation is that it will be out when Volition brings their community site back up. It went down for maintenance late last week.
What exactly is initiation station?
What exactly is initiation station?
They're releasing more or less a demo of the character editor so you can create your character before the game comes out
You were right. It looks a lot better that way with a white inner face. The outer white glow gives it more of a spray look too. Thanks for the suggestion!
I am credit to mod development
The custom station is going to be the same as in SR2, where you can only pick from songs you buy in the music stores.
This saddens me.
It would be cool if we could make our own custom radio station with a mod. Probably not possible though.
A buddy of mine asked me if I could mod bikes so they flipped faster in midair for doing stunts. Increasing the pitch and yaw values by about 40x didn't exactly have the effect that we thought it would. :v:
Does GOTR add the dual swords as actual functional weapons?
Does GOTR add the dual swords as actual functional weapons?
Yep. Completely functional along with an additional 15 other weapons.
Is it possible to make GTA IVs Carmageddon thing in SR2?
Well, yes and no. GTAIV allows you set negative values for friction which result in surfaces pushing the vehicles away on contact; kind of like a reverse magnet. SR2 values will not accept negative numbers and just round them up to 0. So, what happens is that a vehicle spawns and goes *CHUNK* embedding itself into the concrete and beings to smoke/flame. Now, I have had some success messing with other increased values, but the results weren't exactly spectacular. Getting this to work similar to that GTAIV mod is going to be a matter of finding the right combinations of values, and I'm a bit lost at all the car stuff like gear ratios and things. I kind of just punch in numbers and see what kind of retarded shit happens. If someone is familiar with all that stuff, I'd love to collab with them and see if we could make it work.
Get someone to buy the game for you where its cheaper and send them money through paypal, I would do it for you If I had the money.
Yeah, that's what I'm planning on doing (Done it before to get games that weren't sold here or were 2x the cost)
While we're on the topic of SR2 modding, is there any way to change the vehicle camera so it doesn't act like it's glued to the vehicle? It gets annoying while turning around corners. I'd rather have it like in GTA4 where the camera is not attached to the vehicle.

It's a mod called Sticky Camera that's included with the latest GotR as an option in the installer. If you want the individual source to roll your own just say the word.

I think I've only done one or two backflips that didn't smash into the ground and catapult me down the street on my face.
So after installing Powertools properly and finally getting Steam to not shit on me, I played SR2 and everything is kind of slower now. Is that supposed to happen?
I'm going to assume that you're trying to use the automated version of powertools, and that the auto timescale did not work correctly. If so, you're going to need to run the stopwatch test and manually set the value in the ini based on your results. How to go about doing that is all in the SR2 PC FAQ: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1715922
I fucking love the ragdoll and car physics. Like when you shoot someone driving a car, they become a ragdoll inside the car Or when you drive into someone and they fly into your convertable, and stay inside it

Apparently the PC version got leaked.
I see a few copies on torrent sites. From the comments, they aren't working.
Apparently the PC version got leaked.
Oh god I hope it did, i've been waiting SO LONG for this game @_@ Please oh please
Oh god I hope it did, i've been waiting SO LONG for this game @_@ Please oh please
It did. Apparently it was out for a bit according to the NFO.
I'd rather not lose my gameplay experience by playing a torrented version
i can wait i don't have to play the leak i don't need it
I see a few copies on torrent sites. From the comments, they aren't working.
Well seeing as there aren't any actual ways yet to play them, only download :v:
