You stay in the district, keep driving around, and if you spot one near, follow it, shoot at it and weaken the car forcing the driver out and then drive to the nearest chop shop. Easy shit.

Even easier, when you spot one, get in front of it in an intersection and blast the driver away. If you just shoot at the car, chances are the car will end up speeding the fuck away and you'll never catch up to it, until it disappears off the radar.
I know it's sometimes not very helpful asking a question like this in a thread dedicated to a certain game, but I'm having such a hard time deciding between SR3 and BF3. If I get BF3 I order it off of Amazon and I can get the DLC for it. If I get SR3 I can buy it on Steam and get the DLC with it, I'll also be able to buy the GTA Complete pack with it.
I've been playing BF since 1942, and love the big battles on BC2. For SR, I've only played SR2 but love it, I'm still working on the campaign and I love playing the coop with my friend. Both games look like a lot of fun so far, but I don't know which one I should get first.
bf3 comes out like 3 weeks before sr3 so get bf3
OK, I can always wait for more sales on Steam.
I was also watching some Caspian Border gameplay which I had never seen before, and it looks a whole lot better than Metro.

Anyway.. what are some cars that have a lot of customization? I already have the mongoose, the golfcart, and the bulldog. I like having kick-ass looking cars to show off to my friends.
Just recently got the Saints Kent, joined a match.. the guy had an insanely fast sports car. I pulled out my kent, he immediately jumped out of his sports car and into mine, and when I crashed my kent he even tried to flip it over lol. It's funny to see people react to big ass trucks.

There's a chance that the driver will magically figure out what you're up to if you try hijacking it. Again, blocking it then shooting the driver is your best bet.

The AI has had a makeover, and should be a lot smarter.
I believe so, but I'm not sure.
They have confirmed over a dozen radio stations, including one with adult swim and cartoon network music
It's being developed on PC this time, and they're putting a lot of work into making it more stable on the PC

Could be one of following:
* Outdated or corrupt shader file. Have him try the fix in the 1.1 Gamersgate shaders fix folder bundled with the mod.
* Corrupt profile.dat. Have him delete it from his save folder and the game will create a new one. This will kill all his tracked stats though. He can find it here:
C:\Users\[profile]\AppData\Local\THQ\Saints Row 2\profile.dat
* You can only save ~22 custom personally created outfits in GotR. Attempting to save additional ones will crash the game. If his crash is happening right on outfit save then this is likely the problem. Have him delete a couple of his own custom outfits (not store bought or unlockables) and then try to save again.
* I recently found a bug (like a few days ago) with the Ronin jackets where they would randomly cause the wardrobe script to freak out with overshirts and show the wrong wear options that trigger an incompatibility flag and then crash the game. I have a fix coming in the next beta, but in the meantime have him try to delete all Ronin Jackets from his wardrobe and also any outfits that have Ronin Jackets as part of them.
Or if he wants to help test it out, he can download just the fix and try it (install instructions included in the readme) :

We just tried the shader fix, and that did not work.
The profile fix seems to have delayed the issue, but after extended clothing browsing his game crashed for no real reason. (He said he was looking through the piercings at the time.)

Have him try reverifying integrity on Steam and then rebuilding and installing the mod. If he can consistently reproduce the crash with steps how he did it that would be a great help in figuring out what's gone wrong.
EDIT: Also, have him upload his save file somewhere and I can take a look and see if there's anything weird going on. One other thing, was he using any optional mods in the build?

I can probably implement a vanilla patch build in the installer if that would help. Also, the store is temporarily down for maintenance while I tweak a few designs. Both links still go to the store page where I mention it. Are they not coming up for you?

Fucks sake, the screen always goes black on the Orange Threat Level ronin mission as soon as the cutscene to get in the carts finishes.
