Known issue. Skip the middle cutscene. Also, that particular issue is fixed in the GotR mod.

No optional mods in the build, it was just regular GotR with the Open options enabled.
We've noticed that it seems to be happening quite randomly, but most commonly when menus are involved - any kind of shop, as well as missions entering/exiting.
So does anyone know about the cheats in this game yet? Will they be free? Because I heard something about an invincible pack, which gives you god and shit, but apparently that's DLC.

I'm guessing that reverifying integrity and rebuilding the patch file didn't help? The only other thing I can think of would be to try running windowed. As strange as it sounds, windowed mode is actually quite a bit more stable than fullscreen.

He has been running windowed mode, he verified integrity already..He stopped bothering with this now, so he's gonna try to rebuild the patch file tomorrow.
Oh, it's also worth noting that he's not using Powertools.

Also... this may be a dumb question, but are you 100% sure he's running v1.9b16a and not a different version? Even one release off can cause some totally weird flipped out shit to happen, including crashing.

Something else I just thought of...
Since he's not using Powertools, are you sure he's running at the correct speed? When you drive around together do you get any kind of teleportation? jumping cars and npcs? Is vehicle surfing completely smooth where the driver sees the passenger standing still on the hood and not teleporting all over the place like crazy?
If you are seeing these kind of issues, then it's not a sign of lag like most people think. It's actually an indication that the speed is off. If the sync gets too far out of balance (and it will get progressively worse as you play) it can cause disconnects and/or crashes. A good test would be to see how things work in solo play and if he still sees the same crashing issues.

Cruise control is back! That was probably one of my favourite features in any game ever.
I hope they make the cars more pushable if you hit them while driving. Also, FUCK YES, hover-bike. This game looks a shitload more crazier than SR2.

I think it makes your car handle better? I don't know.
It holds the speed at the current speed.
So you won't have to keep holding in the joystick/pressing w to drive, made it a fuckton easier to do drive-by's.
