Saints Row: The Third - Fun For the Whole Family! - Games

I think that SR2 multiplayer put higher ranking players in same team versus lower ranking. It made no sense.

Just got my GameInformer today and read the SR3 section. Sounds pretty good.

Wondering who will be the next character profile in gameinformer's SR3 hub? Another leader of a different gang, or one of the Saints(like that mysterious Saints woman near the plane). I wonder if you can missile dropkick hijack while you are in the air going down to a car(dropped out of an airplane, or heli, and dropkick hijacking the car).

I dont really need the euphoria itself but a ragdoll with reactions would be good enough.

I wouldn't put it past Volition, either. Those guys are crazy and awesome. They know that Saints Row isn't serious, that it's meant to be overblown and silly. None of this wishy-washy middle-of-the-road business with Bulletstorm and the like not staying consistent on weather it's meant to be ironic or serious. It's just all ridiculous, all the time. It's not nearly as complex, but it works with games like Skate 3, which made it a joy to crack the PC's nuts on a rail. There are a few other games I know of that do this but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

Well, except for Nintendo games, but I wouldn't want Mario to fall over every time a Goomba hit him, anyway.

Playing SR2, I can only turn left while it boats and planes... inconvenient to say the least. May be the silly Sixaxis controls.

Got to love Sixaxis. Used prominently in a couple launch (and close-to-launch) racing titles and then ditched because it's flimsy and awkward. I don't even know why SR2 has it set to "On" by default, none of the other games I've played past early-mid 2007 have ever done that.

[/QUOTE] Depending on if GTAV will be like GTA3/SA/VC, I might have 2 games instead of one in sandbox. And yes, if I saw my enemy doing a missile dropkick hijacking from 100-500 feet in the air to the car, I would admit, that would be the most badass and awesome stunt I have ever seen. If they allow you to do that, in the words of Futurama, SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

Or at least have a couple of fighting styles to begin with.

lol it's like every time they try to create an interesting or memorable character they fail horribly. good thing the gameplay's a lot of fun.
